Hi thanks for the video, can you share what are the symptoms to know the cable has problems? My car is less than 30k miles and i am with clutch problems.
Hey there😊 my mirage's clutch bitting point is way too low. Got it after some maintenance in the dealer. I want to adjust the bitting point and make it higher. Is it clockwise or counter clockwise to increase the height of the bite. And is there any cons in adjusting it. Car is already 3yrs old
@drivetourphilippines3410 turn it a couple turns one way and feel the difference. If it’s worse go the other way. I honestly don’t know. If I’m reading you right, the clutch bites too close to the floor so you need to let the cable out a bit. You can watch the clutch arm move when you adjust the nut.
This is one of the only real issues with these cars thankfully. Really reliable transportation otherwise. If mine goes I'd consider cutting the end, replace the nut, and solder it back together. Probably quadruple the service life in the process
Hey Turnbull! A dad's work is never done! Hahahaa. Good job fine sir, quick job and rewarding... helping out a young person!!!
So true. Easy fix and helped a great kid that is struggling to pay rent.

If the cable has problems, you will not be able to put into gear at all! You will have zero clutch.
Ive heard they always will break at somepoint and to put one in the trunkwell...
Crazy. It is a cheap car, but come on....
