Looking through a lot of my old videos, I grew a bit nostalgic for the days when I did PC-98 style arranges. Truthfully, after seeing how common PC-98 arranges done in emulator or on hardware were becoming, I became kind of discouraged from making any kind of PC-98 arrange. After all, from a sound authenticity standpoint, how could I ever compete with my admittedly subpar soundfonts?
But as time went on, and the more of other people's arranges I listened to, the more I realized something: I was kind of bored by them all. PC-98 arranges these aren't what they used to be, that is, a treat, something that we all looked forward to. Same thing could be said of most ZUN-style arranges too. I can't remember the last time I was excited to see the release of any new fan-music.
In making this arrange, I kind of remembered why I started doing arranges in the first place: nobody was making the kind of Touhou-related content I wanted (except for ZUN obviously). And so now that it's here, I hope this song reminds you of the excitement Touhou brought when you first found it.

Dude this is actually amazing! So many people do will try and do the PC-98 style on newer games but end up just remixing it, but you actually arranged it in ZUN’s PC-98 style! So cool!!!!
