I saw RETURN OF THE JEDI in the theatres when it was released. Now, at the age of 51, I keep saying to myself, that when I die, Paradise for me, will be Endor. Naive thinking I know, but the whole landscape of thick forests, lakes and blue skies full in stars is the perfect place for living forever.
It might be the most beautiful planet/moon in Star Wars.
@@briancoon3235 It has strong Lord of the Rings' reference (medieval virgin forests) something which makes it greater. Add on it a Space Opera and you have Heavens.
I;m 49 and saw it in the cinema too, i had no idea what was going on or what Star Wars was but it was magical!
This place don't exist, after movie shooting this forest was totally cut. Sad.

Well I'm not sure how well it will work for sleep because it does get a little "dramatic" through the middle of the video. It does start and end on a quiet note though. Regardless, I hope you enjoy it!

The best answer I can give is "maybe". While I would love to make some LOTR-themed content, the film music can't be used on youtube.

If anyone is curious, this footage is actually taken from Star Wars Battlefront (2015); as much of an improvement as it's predecessor was, the visuals and atmosphere was always better in the first game in my opinion.

You have to admit that DICE created a masterpiece with the first Star Wars BATTLEFRONT. Its settings, its characters, its special effects, all created with great care. I have a fond memory of the day I bought the PS4 special edition of STAR WARS and it came with BATTLEFRONT in the PACK. I remember being amazed by the tremendous graphics it had and the beautiful music that accompanied it. I haven't had a better time in a long time than when I opened that box. I am very angry with EA and PLAYSTATION for their current and long-standing bad decisions, but that was without a doubt one of the best they made in a long time. They brought back to life the child that I have had in my Star Wars fan since he first saw the premiere of RETURN OF THE JEDI in the cinema. Always GAMER, always a lover of cinema and especially STAR WARS.
This sentiment is the essence of nostalgic magic with Star Wars games. Beautifully put.

Imagine me in warp sight as late prodigal grand master Jedi meditating sit with even Ewoks from behind doing the quite the same.
I always wondered, if it is the forest moon of Endor, where is the planet Endor? It must be a super earth or something for the sun to be so close, but it would be an amazing "moon" during the night sky but they never show it.
I looked it up. It is called Tana by the Ewoks and is only seen in video games. It is a gas giant after all, but orbits close to its star or farther away from a hotter star than ours. It just seems missing from the movies.

This is beautiful, and you get a pass since you did a "Night Time" thing, *BUT,* I wish people who make SW Ambience tracks did better. They never get day time Endor correct.
Please, all of you, go back and watch the scenes where Wicket sneaks up on Leia, or when all of the Rebels sneak up on the first two Scouts. There's, like, six different types of cricket, something that almost sounds like prairie dog barks, and who can forget the Endor Coocoo? Every last ambience maker, apparently.
