💜🙏🙌 It is great to see these hidden teachings finally able to be released. The time of the four corners coming together is here. Gratitude for your wisdom. 🔥☝️
My Dad was one of these men. He was everyone's favorite and everyone loved him. He was all the things you mentioned. I once told him that it was his fault that I love God as much as I do, because if he, being a human Dad/father could be so wonderful, loving, kind, caring and considerate, he was also very funny, then how much more God our Father must be.
I agree with you, and thank you, Wally Brown. This man, of which you speak, has become even more rare as this world has accelerated. We will need such men when the winds of heaven change. I sense the change is already upon us.
Wally appears to be this very man. He is a leader in his community and positive role model to other men. From what I can see he is a great father and has taught his children well. He honors his parents and his late wife. He is a teacher and I would say he has a very strong relationship with his deity. I am so grateful to have access to these teachings from a man such as Wally Brown.
Truthful men speak true words. Thank you sir for keeping and sharing the traditional teachings that reminds us our humanity and our connection with the holy Supreme Creator. I know that this represents a huge responsibility, so all my respect. 💕👐💕
Many are lost in this crazy world we are presently attune to living, but now we are being reminded of what we knew in our hearts, we had great grandfathers, fathers, uncles, brothers, cousins who were once these types of persons. They've left us so its great to be reminded again. Using technology to communicate these teachings are great. There were great women as well, they were married to these men. Keep praying, prayers are powerful.
I am inspired by the confidence and pride you have while sharing Dine teachings. Much confusion going on in our world. Especially among young people. Thank you, Grandfather.
Yes like my father, no need for words, he could give us one look and we knew what time it was!!!!!💚 "And when he talked, people listened..." This made me emotional, my father is not what most may consider a "social" person but when he talks, people listen💚
Semper Fi brother. Being a man with honor and integrity and being known as such is what I understand from your teaching. Is it similar to being on the path of beauty? This is how I hope to be remembered.
Not a marine. Not Navajo. But I believe that many ancient traditions are pointing us to the same thing. Beauty. Truth. Goodness. This is the Way. “The way of the Warrior does not contain certain things, such as dancing, painting, Buddhism, Confucianism, or poetry, but once you know the Way broadly, you will begin to see it in all things. Each man must refine his own particular way.” -Miyamoto Musashi from his work on strategy, The Book of the Five Rings
Well I'm a woman, so theres that. But i tried to raise my son to be a good man. He only made it to 24 but he was loved by many people so i hope i succeeded.
My brother passed at 23 years of age about 15 years ago. He was a good soul and is still missed by many. Your comment reminds me of him, so It sounds to me like you succeeded ❤
This is not the first time I have felt grounded by a teaching here. I have a deep sense of gratitude and reverence for the traditional teachings, thank you for sharing. Beautiful lessons and I love seeing new ones!
Many ancient teachings have similar ideas about how to be a proper man. What i notice is the sad trend towards an "everyone for themselves" mentality in society and no one, women nor men value that "proper man's man" anymore. "Man" has lost his value in society and people view the "man" as a sexist, racist, bigoted tyrant. Rather than a kind wise teacher and proper role model. It is a destructive trend, because since society no longer values a "man", now "man" has no benefit in being that type of man. In today's society that type of man is considered detrimental to progress. The progress society wants is a focus on the individual rather than the group. It is a first come first served society where sharing and equality is viewed as a weakness or an inability to achieve success. Wealth is not judged by your value to your community. But rather how much you individually own, your personal physical wealth. Not your emotional, moral, or spiritual value to society. This trend towards focusing on the individual, rather than the community will be the downfall of society. It has been the destroyer of great civilizations throughout time. The individual is in opposition to community, and once a people loose their sense of community and focus on the individual, their civilization inevitability collapses.
I want to say that, I’m not Díné but I wanted to learn The stories The teachings and The History of Turtle Islanders and what Traumatizing journey you and every other tribe has been, and I just want to say to you. Thank you so much Wally for everything that you’ve taught me, May the great spirit be with you.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Grandfather 🙏 Respect to your kin. I Am grateful for being brought up this way. It is rare but it is the seed within all beings. Many blessings
Bozhhoo Sabé Indiginikaaz Migizi Doodem Annishinaabé, HELLO! Ularu/Ayers, Rocks! Like a boomerang, everything in beauty and love is in a circle. The very life is within the circle. It gives, it takes, it nourishes and starves, as Yin Yang, Black White, but also, vast as space, and we peer through only a little bit of that circle, but some can see beyond it, and like our friends, Sabé, Sasquatch, Yowies, Yeren, Almas, Hibagon, Yeti, Wood Wose, Etc. 👣 They can occupy 2 worlds. They can come and go and anywhere. 💞💞💖 🦅
It's getting hard out here in Vancouver. The people have begun pointing fingers at me for being the problem. I prayed hard for the truth, I'm a rainbow baby and I dance the sun
Thank you so much for talking about positive masculinity! My father, my brother, and my best male friends are doing this to the best of their ability, but the teaching needs to be spread around the world.
I feel you yourself stand very much in this tradition, mr. Brown. This means being a righteous man, a man of dignity. A man whom others feel at ease with, and drawn to, because he unwaveringly acts to the benefit of all beings. He has chosen to pursue the good and the beautiful in this world. He will never be desperate. Men like these are, unfortunately, hard to find in this world nowadays. Our leaders, which should be men of this stature, are usually of incredibly low development and standing. Let us all endeavour to be more like these true men that mr. Brown so eloquently describes, and that he embodies himself so profoundly. The world would be a better place that way. Thank you mr. Brown, for being who you are.
My dad, who was not my natural father, was one of these special men. They have power, because that special spark inside them, it light others on fire so they shine too. Every act of courage I’ve performed in this strange, strange age, ever action I’ve taken to effect positive change, every battle I’ve fought to defend my homeland & family… all that came from him. It’s been 8 years since his mission on Earth ended, yet his power hasn’t diminished…it’s only grown and spread, like ripples in a pond. I used to struggle to describe him. Righteous & upright was as close as I got. But I think this “Hazdti” is possibly a perfect fit. Thank you, friend.
Yes, such men are rare. I knew one such at one time - my late father. A quiet man, humble in the true sense, he was respected by all who knew him. His words meant something, he had no small-talk. Many men who come and go are forgotten, but my father is still remembered and spoken of. Whatever he chose to do, he did well, not for an audience. Called up to fight in the first world war, he instead became a conscientious objector, saying he would not murder anyone. He went to prison for it. A very courageous action given the prevailing atmosphere of those days. If men these days would say, we will not go to war, the world would be a better place. Today's men have no guidance as what it is to be a man; I would say, it just means to grow into maturity and embody old-fashioned virtues. One needs to have a spiritual star or focus, a purpose behind all one does - an aim towards the good.
My son, when being a teenager... asked me once: Dad, what does it take to become a man? I told him: Be honest, have principles, morals and dignity. Stand for your word and be supportive. Dont waste yours and others time by fooling around. And have faith in the Lord. Thankyou for your lesson, Sir! Much appreciated... it sounded very familiar.

Thank you beautiful man/being! To me, you are a great representation of this “man” you speak of. I’m grateful to have been guided to this channel and your words and teachings for MANY reasons! Thank you ❤
I love to hear all of your teachings. That was the way that my father was taught by his grandfather, my great grandmother, was a Cora Indian and my great grandfather was full a Spaniard. The love was between them was incredible and I see so much of my father's sayings/teachings in your stories. Your a treasure and I always send many blessings for you and your beautiful family. ❤
Thank you for sharing your traditions. By blood I am not Navajo, but there is something inside me that believes that I was in a past life..our teachings reach my inner core and engages my spirit
My son, a Navy Seabee, spent a couple days with Peter MacDonald, former Chairman of the Navajo Nation and one of the few remaining USMC Navajo Code Talkers. He really inspired my boy, a true gentleman and a MAN Among Men.
My dad was like that and I fall short, but I try very hard to make him proud and to be more like him and I have been shown by Creator that when I do succeed and people compliment me being good man, kind man, or humble man, that I can feel my dad smile, even though he passed when I was 12 years old way back in 1982. That was a wonderful gift to know that I can still make him proud even though we live in different realms. And now I know why my dad taught me some Navajo teachings, even though we were both White.

Too few of us are concerned with living an honorable life, so it went to my soul to hear you speaking of old values of a man's word. When you're poor, that's all you've got. That's all we'll leave this world with when we go to the next place. Thank you for your video, sir.

They need an elder like you in every public school.
In old norse the equivalent term was Drengr.
Not about being overbearing or macho, but being respectful and respectable.
Yes, I'm Canadian, and my feeling is that a man's man balances strength with humility and openness. My father was like that.
Listening to this I was reminded of machismo. It can get so bad a mother won't even teach her baby son because she cannot direct a male
My Dad was one of these men. He was everyone's favorite and everyone loved him. He was all the things you mentioned. I can say the same. You and I were truly blessed. My Mom and Dad passed two and four decades ago, respectively, and I thank them daily.
It is a blessing to love your parents so much.
I agree with you, and thank you, Wally Brown. This man, of which you speak, has become even more rare as this world has accelerated. We will need such men when the winds of heaven change. I sense the change is already upon us.
Beautifully said 🌱🕊️
This is beautiful. Thank you for this, and thank you Wally....I can't wait to meet these men....we need this now!
Future is bright.
Change is good, embrace it, surrender to it and allow our father, our creator to show us how we are meant to live life.
