Thanks Phill, all sensible ideas, I agree, adding a mat of some description is a good idea as the plastic floor is quite brittle and doesn't cope well with small hard impacts, such as dropping a tool, or even kneeling on it !
pinkze he say " loved your build video, after 1 year of use video, now this too 🎉 Really good, love the frosting idea, didnt know you can get a spray, ace idea. Oh like the floor protection idea also 👍. I think maybe leave unlocked when i get mine, id rather some low life nick my mower than wreck my shed getting to it 😮🤔"
I'd suggest getting a long drill bit and drill all the way through into the ground below. Then get a threaded rod, doesn't need to be threaded the full length and carefully fill the hole with post mix and put the threaded rod in. Once it's set you can wind a nut on the end inside the shed.
How does this do with rain? I am considering getting one of these and making it into a micro camper by shortening the wall height and adding some thin insulation and an ac unit.
great video again! where did you get your shelf system from please? for the window i just left the blue protective film on mine which it came with 🤣, your idea is a good option though 👍. i bought one of those lights last week for our front garden too, spear and jackson (stainless steel) seems really good 👍👍
Thanks 👍 I made the shelving. There's a video to how I made it in the description of this video I think. Yea I would have left the cover on the window but I already had the frosting spray anyway. Yea I have the spear and Jackson light it's been good so far.

All good ideas but that one quid combo lock ain't stopping any one😊
It's more of a deterrent and I have since put a bigger better lock on.
@@PhillWyattProjects to be fair better to pick lock than take stanley knife to see side!🤫
Great video 😊
Thanks for watching
Good video mate was waiting for a step back into the pond when you was cutting the floor liner 🤣👍
Thanks👍 yea a few people have said that I get closer to it than I realise 😄 I'm destined to go in it one day 😁

Cheers Andy. The mat really does help to protect the floor it's a must in my opinion.

Cheers glad it was all helpful. Yea I guess if a thief want's to get in they will either way.
Did you use any kind of adhesive for the kitchen flooring you installed on the floor?
No its just laid down. I could have used an adhesive but it doesn't seem to need it as it never moves.
Nice upgrade Phill .
Nice one Gary 👍🏻
It’s looking good mate 👍
Thanks a lot! 👍
Thank you so much! Great inspiration!
your welcome
Super useful tips!
Thanks 👍😊
White paint is better and cheaper than frosting spray. They use it on empty shop windows. 👌
Hi Phil, these videos are great, thanks for making them!
Can I please ask how would you anchor a keter shed on a plastic ecobase base?
Thanks 👍🏻 not sure about anchoring to a plastic base that could be tricky .

How is this shed now has it held up the the weather and storms?
It's fine just like the day I put it up I think it's been around 2 years now.
@PhillWyattProjects thanks for the reply Phil 🫡
Got my 600x600mm slabs today any tips for laying e.g. Mix?
Hi Joel, I used a mix of about 5 parts sharp sand to 1 part cement. Hope this helps. 👍

Mine hasn't let any rain in so far. After 1 year it's still bone dry inside.
@@PhillWyattProjects thank you so much for replying!!
What is a "micro camper" ? When will you make a video of it?
Have you ever experienced high wind condition (like 75 MPH or so)? How did it hold up? Thanks!
A few weeks ago there was a very bad storm. It didn't bother it at all. It's been up a year now and it's as good as new.
@@PhillWyattProjects Thank you for the reply! It helps a lot!

Hi Phil,
Did you notice some rub between the door latch and plate when closing latch ?
For a month or 2 it was fine. Now it does rub slightly. I suppose the latch doesn't have much tolerance so it might be common.
@@PhillWyattProjects Thanks for the Prompt Feedback. I very much enjoy your Inspiring Videos thankyou.
I was thinking of getting one for mobility scooter but I'm not sure about how secure it is
They are not too bad in my opinion. Sturdier than I thought initially.
If you get a metal shed rivet where the sheets overlap.
nooice!!
Thanks! 👍
Instead of frosting the window I installed a small blind into my shed
That sounds like a good idea 👍🏻
I don't think that lock would stop any thief .
It's more of a deterrent. If a thief wants to get in they will no matter what lock you use.
