OMG. I made this boss fight way harder than it should have been. I was so happy to finally get to chapter 6, and then this guy 😡. For the life of me, I'm not sure why I didn't look up how to beat him? But anyway, I fought him many times and kept dying at the final phase. I pulled off a miracle eventually and defeated him. I came across a video that suggested in his final phase use the fan spell that blew away all the flames...WT?
