The music was nice too!) - Barbie Mariposa (The beautiful Fluttefield| fairy island, the adventure, the flying bunny, Mariposa is brave and kind; i like her!) - Barbie princess and the pauper (The songs, the story, the iconic villain. I like everything about it 🙂) - Barbie island princess (It's like tarzan but with a girl, had nice songs and likable characters... except the annoying elephant who was also a bit ugly. i was really really young when i had watched my first barbie movie ever and that was barbie diaries. barbie movies used to be telecasted on tv every sunday 7pm and i used to watch them every week. my fav were fairytale and mermaid series and mariposa too. now that i'm older i don't get enough time to catch up with the newer ones.
I was in High school when these movies started coming out, but I remember my best friend's little sister had all the Barbie movies that were made up to that point on DVD. Now that I am a girl mom I have started collecting both DVD and digital versions of the Barbie movies so that my daughters will have them. I can tell you their favorites. My 4-year-old loves the Nutcracker. She has a literal crush on Prince Eric in Nutcracker form. 🤣 its too cute. Followed by Ther Mermaid Tale movies, The Secret Door and Three Musketeers. My 3 year Olds favorite is Fairy Secret, followed by Rapunzel, Diamond Castle, and Princess Charm School.
Nice ranking. Barbie and the nutcracker had a huge part in my childhood!!! So its NO1 for me. Then swan lake, rapunzel, pegasus, 12 princesses are the OLD BUT GOLD. I also liked the barbie and the pink shoes it was a bit spooky and out of the box!
When I was a kid, I saw this charm school movie is pretty good. I liked it. My sister's top favorite in childhood. I think so now too. We can relate with our real life and movie script and this is what I mainly liked about (just without that crowning moment) as compared with everybody's student's life.👍 tough, unpredictable, improvement and so on.

I almost agree with your ratings. Personally, Princess and the Popstar, Video Game Hero, and Mermaid Power should have been at least a bit higher, but I don't have a huge issue with them being low. Just cause things are better than something else doesn't mean the something else is bad. Barbie Rock 'N Royal s deserves to be top 5 though... I've never watched Magic of Pegasus but I like the main character so it can stay at #1, even if Rock 'N Royals deserves that spot. - Ranking the Barbie movies I've seen. I almost agree with your ratings.
Personally, Princess and the Popstar, Video Game Hero, and Mermaid Power should have been at least a bit higher, but I don't have a huge issue with them being low. Just cause things are better than something else doesn't mean the something else is bad.
Barbie Rock 'N Royal s deserves to be top 5 though...
I've never watched Magic of Pegasus but I like the main character so it can stay at #1, even if Rock 'N Royals deserves that spot.

Barbie Rock 'n Royals: 10/10 (my favorite movie of all time. Yes, really. I've watched it over 20 times.)
Barbie Princess and the Popstar: 8/10
Barbie Video Game Hero: 8/10
Barbie: Mermaid Power: 7?/10 (I just thought the main antagonist , Amy Tang (I think that's her name) was kinda attractive.)
Barbie: Princess Adventure: 7?/10 (It had ups and downs)
Barbie in a Princess Power: 7.5/10 (don't remember it perfectly but it was decent.)
Barbie Princess Charm School: 7/10 (just not my cup of tea.)
The Barbie Diaries: 7/10 (it's not bad.)
Barbie in a Mermaid Tale: 7/10 (it'd be 8/10 if it weren't for the villain)

I know these movies were made for kids but nowadays that doesn't necessarily mean they're suitable. Has anyone seen anything in any of them that they were a bit concerned about. I can't sit through 42ish hours of Barbie cartoons to check for myself - I struggle to sit through even one of them 🤪😄 . TIA
I think their all suitable for Children.I watched many of them as a Child and the older ones are actually darker but none to dark

@@sharlajain diamond castle has some dark elements to it, even their choice of colors are a bit dark. Barbie diaries involves a liar boy who cheats on Barbie in a way, and at some point, Barbie also secretly records videos of some popular girls (while maintaining a friendship with them) and then releases those clips or informations as a "news report".
