1:33 This literally one of my absolute favorite episodes of Bob’s Burger. When Linda was too busy to help Tina shave her legs, instead of shooing Tina away because it’s not a ‘man’s’ problem, he actually listened to his daughter’s insecurities, took her to a waxing salon and got his legs waxed with her all to make her feel better. Yes this show is absurd and hilarious but it also has so much heart and it just gets better with every season.
The reason why Bob is such a great dad is because he may not come off that way at first glance. He's not especially smiley or outgoing, but what makes him so endearing is because he goes above and beyond for his family and his friends, even if it's inconvenient or makes him uncomfortable. He may complain, but he always gives his best work when he knows someone's counting on him. Bob has had so many great moments with his kids that this doesn't even touch the tip of the iceberg Some of my favorite moments not shown here are Bob talking to Tina after she feels guilty about shaving her leg hair, Bob telling Louise he'll make sure they never drift apart like their favorite movie duo (a father-daughter duo) and telling Gene a story to make him feel better when he got food poisoning I also like that he loves all of his kids and has a special relationship with each of them
I took a moment between him and Linda to heart. "Fine I'll go to that party with you, but I will complain the entire time". He is there for those he loves 110% of the time, but he is also vocal in his point of view and disdain for the shenanigans he gets wrapped up in.
That episode where Gene gets overwhelmed bc the rock opera is too loud really gets to me. It reminded me of a sensation I experienced multiple times as a kid where maybe if a movie was super loud or something I’d get overwhelmed and scared, and it isn’t normally acknowledged in shows. Usually a kid is super exited for a thing, and the only reason they wouldn’t enjoy it is if something goes wrong. But that wasn’t always my experience with anxiety, and I think it’s cool they show that it’s okay to get scared or overwhelmed even if nothing is “wrong”
I love their relationship in that episode too. How Bob handles it is by taking him out of the theater even though it was his idea, and then sharing what he loves about it with Gene and finding a way for them both to enjoy it. I also love that Gene is just happy to try something his dad loves and be open to it even though he initially doesn't like it, which says a lot about their relationship.
@@umjackdtrue Like the trapeze episode where him and gene go to circus showman seminar because linda and louis try to cheer tina up on valentines day.

I'm so glad you guys made a compilation of Bob! Throughout the years when I saw the show I always thought Bob is just the best father out there! He does everything for his kids! So now seeing a compilation of it really takes the cake. Thank you so much for this this is awesome!!!! Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dads out there.
Bob Belcher being a good dad is such a rarity, especially in adult cartoons. He's aware of his shortcomings, he recognizes when he makes mistakes and he makes time for his children even during work hours. Goes to show he didn't need to follow the trends of other flawed dads. Bob's a sincere guy with an open heart which helps with any doubt why his wife and children love him so much.
Bob is one of the best animated dad's, and It's not even close. Every episode surrounding just him and Tina have made me emotional in some way. The writer's really know how to write healthy dynamic between a father and daughter.
Also, they produced one of the best episodes ever. A whole episode where Bob just goes undercover to get Tina's doll, and almost gets a tattoo is hilarious. That whole episode is a 10/10. Especially the ending where Bob is BEGGING Tina to play with the doll again.
Bob as a taxi driver is one of the best bits in the show I think. The thing about needing a bigger hat to be a pimp always cracked me up. It reminded me of the more wholesome days of The Simpsons when Homer worked at the Kwik-E-Mart to pay for Lisa's pony. Difference being Bob was a pretty good employee.
Bob is the apitomy of "I suffered so i don't want others to" He had a pretty bad or non existant childhood. He got into a fight with his dad over running his dad's resteraunt and left though still kept him in his life but had that 15 min rule lmao. He knows they're always in the red but always does stuff for his kids or friends however he can financially or physically helping them. I find it a hidden tear jerker how he tries hard for valentine's / mother's day for Linda. Since his mom died (think it was hinted cancer in the movie by the pink hat she wore and louise wears alot too). In a way he wants to give Linda, his wife and mother of their kids, a good day even though he doesn't know how or is not creative enough because he never knew or saw how to do so. But he still tries 😢 Also more than likely thanksgiving because he is a chef / cook. And though not mentioned my headcannon is his dad was so busy with the resteraunt during thanksgiving that Bob had to do all the thanksgiving prep at least. In a way, one of the few moments he was really able to express his culinary skills and creativity. Plus it is when all the family gets together to just eat.
I loved his honesty to business even when things are hard, he doesn’t settle for mediocre meat or services. Just always ensuring the quality of the place and his meals.
One of my favorite scenes from the show is when Tina was exhausted and resting her head asleep on Bob’s hand at the dinning table, and he can’t put her down❤
The best thing to me was that when Bob fired them they were genuinely like: why? It shows the kids like working at the restaurant even if they don’t always take it seriously.
Bob leaving his favorite concert thing (in his birthday) for Gene is really sweet, and reminds me of my own dad. Not just leaving, but Bob isn’t frustrated at all.

They managed to create wild family stories with absolutely loveable parents and kids. Their dynamic is so crazy but so heartwarming. That is why I will always prefer Bob's burgers rather then Family Guy
Growing up on Family Guy, American Dad, Rick and Morty, and other adult animation, Bob's Burgers holds a special place in my heart because he is actually a great dad (including his puns)
One of the main reasons I love Bob's Burgers is because it uses a different cast of characters where they're not all idiots like in Family Guy, American Dad, The Simpsons, etc. The older seasons of these shows may have been good, but it's been getting blander, lazier, and less funny over the years since they keep using the same statuesque. Bob's Burgers at least has loving father and wife with rambunctious, peculiar, but loving kids. Bob Belcher is someone I adore with his relatable reasoning, his humor, and the way he talks to inanimate objects. I also just feel bad for him when his family and friends just roast him for little to no reason. Of course, they never mean to be full on mean, but I still just feel bad for him. His patience with that is something I adore. With him either leaving or making those "hm" noises. I've been watching Bob's Burgers since the beginning, and I've been loving it ever since. Many say it's boring in the later season but at least they keep characters consistent and don't keep rinsing and repeating life lessons.
I love how bob's burgers started slightly similar to other adult cartoons and was edgy and then slowly became more loving and sincere all with more absurdist and well timed humor. It never punches down on people, even in its edgiest days, the edgy jokes are of its time, but as times changes it never does it again but remains to be funny. The parents love their kids and this show is so full of heart and kindness, and gets more sincere, funny and full of heart more, every season. Although, i do want it to end before cuz its like a good burger.
Bob is the best animated adult father. He's way better than Peter, Stan, and most definitely than Homer. Hank is okay, but Bob can adapt way more than Hank.
Hank is more of a father that want to make bobby the best he can be while bob knows his kids are odd but plays along, in the end both are great father's.
I could never stand shows like Family Guy, Simpsons (the newer episodes specifically) and American Dad and I didn't really know why. But watching Bobs Burgers made me realize it was the family relationships in those shows that I hated. I know they all had their episodes where they loved each other but for the most part it was just abusive and as someone who came from that type of background I could never find that funny.
