Why did you choose a Navalny’s letter for a video of Russian language? Don’t you think that it is innapropriate for most of us?
Me, as many others Russian learners, support Russia and his current leader, and watching a video of a nazi and enemy of Russia it’s not pleasant!

I haven’t worked through the content yet, so don’t know what it says. The description says it’s Navalniy’s manifesto. From what I know of him I am not a Navalniy supporter, but how can I decide if I don’t know his manifesto? For this reason, this is excellent material for learning useful Russian about a live topical subject. I want to be able to talk about this kind of topic and understand the arguments. I very much thank the teacher.😊 for obviously working very hard to make this video intended to teach Russian language. It’s not about politics.
If you believe that Navalny is a "nazi and enemy of Russia," then you are misinformed. Even if you don't like Navalny, you can still learn a lot about Russian and the events surrounding Navalny by understanding the contents of this video. If you are scared away by this video, it's pretty unlikely you would have the endurance to continue with Russian anyway. Best of luck, whatever you decide.

I chose him because of several reasons:
- many of people who study Russian now, do it because of the current political situation. And I want to help to read authentic texts that are playing huge role in Russian society right now.
- I think it was (and is) deeply unfair case. and it is above of any person's views. even if one dislikes him, no one can agree that his case and his conditions in jail are unjust. He is a political prisoner.
