Happy to cover that if OK with Khordmaster? Any parameter that the Koala Sampler App developers allow to be MIDI mapped can be mapped to OffGrid, f.e. effects, play/pause, rec, the pads themselves. OffGrid, in principle, is a class-compliant MIDI controller, it is not in any way pre-programmed for any specific app, nor tied to Koala Sampler by functionality. We did, however, supply a factory preset that can be used with Koala Sampler in a handy way.
Hey buddy, without further ado 😁 I just want to say I loved the view using the mirror. What a cool and ingenious way of inserting yourself into what would have been just a plain desktop shot….. very well done my friend. Keep up the great work 👍👍👍
the lack of ANY kind of useful documentation or instructional material for this deviice is SO frustrating. I have it and i'm basically just guessing how to use it? The worst.
I just watched one of your OP-Z videos, then came across this one ... because what I really want to do is use this WITH the OP-Z. Is it possible? Is it possible without using an iPad/Phone or computer in the middle? How configurable are the controls and could I control things like mute groups and pattern changes that require press-and-hold or triple-press? (If you or anyone knows. Thanks for making the videos!)
i have been seeaching for a decent bt controller for iphone since i got into this 2 years ago ive had roli bloc, opz, noise machine, senstroke and i even tried an ipod touch. none of those was it. this looks like it has what ive been looking for. im cautiously optomistic about this one
Would like to get one of these. Checked out as much info as I could find. Have no problem pledging and donating to worthwhile and legit causes. However am totally confused and in the dark about actually being able to own one of these devices? Just seems like a weird way to go about raising funds. Wouldn’t it make more sense to manufacture the Off-Grid and donate a % to these places? It seems the device shows a lot of potential to be successful but I don’t feel comfortable pledging because don’t know if the entire idea is trustworthy. So, guess no controller for me until more well understood.
@@Khordmaster I love it. I already have a LaunchKey 49 mk3 and a LaunchPad X and I like the way Novation makes use of the pads for multiple DAW functions. The mini is tiny, light and easy to carry in a backpack.

people's patience in the midst of a global pandemic smh ... Sincerely hoping you are aware that behind every company there are people with lives working their butts off to make sure a product comes to life when all else around us falls apart. Consider how it feels to a company to not be able to offer a product and miss out on a full fiscal year of opportunities when parts are simply not sourceable. Thank you for your consideration and understanding. We're just humans, just like you.
@@BirdkidsOrg I'm just pointing out a obvious issue. That pandemic excuse sounds like bs. Isla instruments is delivering S2400's every week during this pandemic. If yall can't build and sell a product in a timely manner just give everyone their money back. Simple. Quit bullshittin.
@@paradoxcal Except we never took anybody's money as the product is yet to be launched 🤷🏽 So the 'issue' seems to be only yours really. As far as the Kickstarter campaign goes 1. we've already started shipping in November. 2. We've actually asked people explicitly to request a refund if they don't want to wait - guess how many asked for one... Respectfully if you want to talk components, saying one audio company ships and therefore the general rule is all others must also be able to is a generalization. Respectfully assumption is, you have a layman's understanding of the nature of chip shortage. Not all IC's are alike. While one company can ship because that particular type of IC is in stock or they were able to pre-stock, some ICs might not be available for years. Peace

How does the reaction time feel? is there a big delay?
Can you change Koala's pad banks from the OffGrid or you have to touch iPad's screen for that?
A great question… and I’m wondering about being able to possibly slide to different pages on koala… let me check that out and report back!

Offgrid controller external Midi module hardware synth ? Thx !
I dig this but I was wondering if I wanted to drop $200 for my mobile setup MIDI controller. I use a Korg NanoStudio now.
Def in the eye of the beholder. Unsure if you need both but this can do things the nanostudio can’t (I think)
Isn't the Korg NanoStudio also $200?
Any idea when this is coming out and what the price point will be?
Not sure the availability but it’s currently released… pricing info should be on their site. I think 200USD
Ok where can I buy this

Right back at ya! Always here to support 🙏🏾 appreciate you!
I connect Orba to Koala w/o a separate app, all the time. Works fine.
