The wraps are not required for good adhesion with our vanes with any carbon arrow. Each shaft manufacturer has a different process to make their arrows, so some surfaces don't accept glue as well and the wrap could help in some cases. If you're shooting an arrow with aluminum on the outside, then we do highly recommend a wrap, or scuffing the aluminum works equally well to achieve good adhesion. If we can help with anything else, please feel free to reach out! info@tacvanes.com
Thanks for the email about the Ironwill Outfitters broadhead vane selection! Order is in!
Like most labels the adhesive is a "pressure sensitive" adhesive. Always use a little pressure to get the best bond.
Are you guys making a wrap that will fit on larger target arrows?
Hi John, yes we have our "Topo Wraps" which are perfectly sized for all popular arrow diameters from micro shafts, up to 27's.
@@randygroff9026 thanks!
Do the wraps help with the adhesion of your vanes?

@@randygroff9026 Ok thanks alot for the reply just got mine in the mail, waiting for my arrows and will see how it goes.
Do you have a hidden tip that helps you put an arrow wrap on?
I just started fletching my arrows, do you place your vanes on the overlap of a wrap. Is there supposed to be an overlap of the wraps?
We do recommend you straddle the seam of the wrap with your vanes. Yes, there should be an overlap that's ideally around 1/8" total.
Primer pen, scotch brite, acetone, water and then put vane on. I’m going back to feathers
