I was at this Thursday? For all good. Obviously the entire weekend, and I was 23 at the time. Came loaded up with four ounces of bud, two ounces of mushrooms, 3 grams of 2c-B, and bought .5 of MDA and then 5 X pills that all tested out Mdma. Left with nothing and I never even sold anything. Myself and crew ate all of the 2cb during yonder and by god was it fucking memorable. The security tried busting me for smoking, and I didn’t realize it was security so I handed the guy a brand new joint and just walked away. He was fucking furious and then I bolted into the crowd once I realized. The very next day security got more intense😂 The last day my crew found a duffle bag FULL of heroin in coffee creamer cans (china white) and we tossed the entire thing into the portopottys. It explained why so many people were passing out in the portopotty mud. This weekend was a fucking blast!
This was my favorite show of the weekend. Twas my fourth all good and my last. Its been fun, but too big, nowhere to piss, no campfires, too many kids with dreads flat billed hats and greatful dead shirts acting gangsterish. Retiring to small fests and some damn money for fishing trips!

I hear ya on that. I went to Rothbury in 2009, with Yonder, the Dead, String Cheese, Dylan, Willie Nelson, and many other great acts, but it was just too damned big and crazy for an oldster like me. These days, I go to Northwest String Summit in Oregon....check it out!

I love this band but nowdays ask the same question every time;what would Jerry say about todays "counter culture"(seems more like the culture-maybe somebody should tell them cause I don't think they"ll get it)and I'm sure he'd love the bluegrass revival but the crowds are similar to the last few yrs of dead tour and more like the beginin of Phish tour and I'm still not convinced that's what really killed Jerry-sadness,from family to enterpries!care of each other to straight cash hommie!SAD!
jam bands or wthvr you call this garbage is the same as those cookie moster metal bands. They just market to ppl w/ college degrees who make more money. ppl spend money on this and drive/ fly to places to listen to this?! why?!
john jones its not a coincidence that most people who have college degrees are very intelligent, with a more in tune sense of music than others. people pay lots of money to see this because it contains of amazing musicians showcasing their full talents, while also producing a place for people to express themselves along with the band. that's why.
