    Excellent well balanced video. I myself am a keen airgunner but not a hunter. I do however understand the need for pest control and culling to as a means of conservation. I dont like hunting for fun or killing for killings sake like fox hunting but understand the need of controlling fox numbers. I would probably feel different if I had been brought up in the country and not the city. .The best channel I have watched for a fair, informative and entertaining show.

    Good show again fellas. 👍 It was good to see Brother Roy out and about and enjoying a day away from the monastery.😉 I’m sure that Chris Packham features in a lot of peoples nightmares, but in only one deluded woman’s fantasies.🤣

    Wish Taiwan’s people can do something similar to the videos shows.
    Now I stay at Taiwan island, I found something special; if Taiwan’s people do what you did as videos shows, the guy will be put in jail for many years or endless plus huge amounts fined, maybe get bankrupted, or even get shot to death by the government, depending on judge. Even a doctor swung a stick to show defense against a street dog (non-fostered, maybe wild), but didn’t touch the dog, many people blamed & asked the doctor must show apology in public & network.
    Taiwan government settled many laws are very strict, unreasonable, strange, ridiculous; many Taiwan’s people promote every life’s right equal to human right, so their education & laws are quite different from other countries/areas; their guns & knives laws and animals protection laws are very strict, unreasonable, ridiculous; maybe the strictest in the world; even got hurt by animals or plants, no compensation, can’t do anything to animals or plants, it’s just unlucky. I’ve never seen such a situation.
    Do you know, many Taiwan’s people said don’t hurt or kill any animals & plants; I don’t know what are their food.
    Another strange thing, Taiwan’s people very like to use mobile phone or car camera or any kinds of cameras to take pictures of other people, and lay bare something to network or police stations to show someone against regulation and get bonus which is granted by the government. Also Taiwan’s people very like to use gathered power in society to criticize or fight others, and easily to conflict with each others. So their society is very strange, there’s “NO PRIVACY” in Taiwan; also there’re many criminal cases of random killing, not very safe at all, BE CAREFULLY.
    If there’s a chance, you may arrange a tour of sightseeing to see this beautiful, strange & crazy island; perhaps you’ll find many Taiwan’s people get mad or they have mental illness really.

    I'm a shooter etc ... but just saying about management and stuff ... I'd take a fox if it were eating chickens or game. There's an old scraggy maimed male, likely hit by a car etc that started wandering in from a field to my property ... our rat issue has ceased since he turned up.. 6 months. BTW .. Kill as many greys and ferals as you can!

      I like the channel but i wish you would be a bit more realistic. Very few people can afford the guns and equipment shown, perhaps One day you might show a guy going out with a Aya Yeoman tucked under his arm followed by a demo of vermin control with a BSA Meteor. Regards Ken in Kent

    • @pessimistprime4877
      @pessimistprime4877 3 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      @@mrsmith9079 back in April we saw a fella jogging through my field of cattle (all bulls) in luminous running cloths. It drove the animals lunatic. We were shouting at him to stop but he wouldn't. He could have been killed or maimed. There is a fenced path through the farm but he decided otherwise. Anyway...
      The cattle broke out and it took 10 days to get all the animals back in their original group. There were numerous fences broken and a field of heifers had been in mixed up with the bulls and had to treated with Estramate to induce abortion, as they were to young to give birth to such a large sire bull.
      This is the sort of bullshit us farmers have deal with when ignorant people are don't respect boundaries or landowners in general.
      This is 1 of many incidents I could recite to you, so think of this next you trespass because it's your "right to do so"
      It could be for your own safety or that of the farmer or animals.

    I watch this and it challenges some things I have long believed. Having seen lambs injured by crows I can sympathise with the need to kill them. Cull is just a euphemism. What I cannot understand is the glee with which some undertake the task.

    Hey, for the foreign viewers, would any Brit like to break down the deal with roaming on private land there? Is there a right of access but people need to stick to established trails or something like that?

    • @fieldsportstv
      @fieldsportstv  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes that's right. Almost all land is private. Even public land is treated as private. We have a system of legal footpaths, which are widespread but people must stick to. During the last year, there have been lots more people on these footpaths, and some of them off the paths. / Charlie
