    I carry a compass In my pocket so not a fan of the magnates on all the pockets as they can compromise too many things also, these features don't warrant such a high price. They are nice pants n I like the design but I just don't see a justification of such a price.

    Great demonstration, you left out two things, 1. They also have a pocket for a handcuff key or any keys for that matter located on the inside bottom seem opposite of the drawstring interior pull where you can blouse your boots, lastly the material is a quick drying material

    Great review, rather by Crye for that price.

    My concern is the magnets coming open if the pockets are full and you're very active.

    Standard Multicam has green dominant (like these pants) and brown dominant like my Tru Spec Multicam BDU

    Always wondered when someone would try magnets. Probably nice for LE, great way to add more shrapnel to your burnt leg in a blast situation. Great overview, I just do not know how 5.11 got the price that high with far-east manufacture.

    Is there any color difference on the regular tdu

      I hope you didnt get these. I recommend the stryke pants if you buying 5.11 (ive tested ALL of their pants extensively and their my favorite. You can get the tdu version but i dont recommend it.) Also the stryke pants go from 50 to 80 bucks on 5.11 so you can find them cheap elsewhere! Again coming from someone whoes drug these pants... get the strykes my man, tactical yet somehow still casual. They hold weight amazing. (I recommend the kore essentials gun belts they hold a shit ton of weight without needing a battle belt and they cost about 60 with an easy adjust track system thats robust and fantastic.) This has been my civvy setup for about 4 years and its never failed me. I swear my life by these two products. You can go from "zero to decked out weight bearing hero" with that belt and plentiful stretching leg movement for the pants as well as AMAZING durability on both products. If you look at the belts look at the belts only get the tactical or the garrison NOT THE LEATHER. Leather last maybe a year of hard use. I still use my tactical series 4 years later. You can gol these belts out like a wand their so stiff but they feel AMAZING on the back.

      Sorry for the rant its just a great edc all the way to "high speed" setup thats proven me well for years.

    Way too pricey, I don't know why 5.11 thinks they can get a market with that steep of a cost. If they dropped the price by $120 I may consider

    • @drazenbabich

      Couldn't agree more. Absolutely ridiculous. Especially when you take into account 5.11 now owns Beyond, whose combat pants can be had for similar price, and these 5.11s aren't even in the same quality class as Beyond's Utility or Advanced mission pant.
      Pass.

    Uf Pro HT 💪

    • @austinporter4285
      @austinporter4285 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I been looking into the HT's a lot the only think is that crye came out with their g4 which means crye has the same breathability has the HT. ANDDD we still get to keep the adjustability that crye has always had. What are your thoughts on that?

    • @austinporter4285
      @austinporter4285 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      And since it seems youve had some time with your HT'S im interested to hear how they have held up for you and if the extra weight of the pants has in return been worth it. If so can you please tell me why? Thank you very much just trying to get all the info i can. For now i just wear 5.11 stryke pants with there teflon ripstop fabric and i love the but i wan a more form fitting pant like the cryes however i mainly want a pant that is GOING TO LAST!

      @@austinporter4285 hmm.. you see, after hours of wearing , the weight will seem unnoticeable, although you will feel they are on you, you will feel them, especially in the knee area and the lower portion of the legs. They hold up really but really well in al kind of terrain ( woods, mountains, desert) and all kind of weather also. On the streets i also wear a p40 urban gen2, that are godlike. Comparing them with the G4’s… tough call.. It deppends: for extreme abuse UF Pro, for medium wear G4’s. No 5.11 for me, pants wise. I have alot of products from them, but not combat pants.

    • @austinporter4285
      @austinporter4285 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cedryk5376 i hear you on that completely and honestly i feel like uf pro and the crye g3 and g4's are in there own league and its up to us to find the use and pick accordingly BUT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE 5.11 STRYKE PANTS! I know you may be worried that they wont hold up but they use the same fabric blends and if im honest with you i have put these pants thru hell man. Even i was surprised at the fact i can wadh them and they still look brand new. Im serious man they have an amazing pocket layout and there SUPER comfortable and for 50 to 60 bucks i gotta say id be steering you wrong if i didnt say there at least worth trying and they fit in PERFECTLY no matter where you are. Also there internal knee pads (the foam ones specifically) have also surprised me whether it be training or just working.

    • @austinporter4285
      @austinporter4285 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ive had 2 pair for the last 3 years and they are the only pants i will wear, they hold my edc kit without issue and i have a bad back so these pants mixed with my kore essentials belt (quarter inch adjustment belt thats BEYOND easy to adjust on the fly). THESE 2 TOGETHER ACTUALLY SUPPORT MY BACK AND I HAVE YET TO COME ACROSS A BETTER SETUP FOR PANTS THAT FIT IN BUT STILL GIVE YOU EVERY ADVANTAGE.
