      10k AU?!
that's surely outside of our solar system so it's not our Planet.
again, evidence of there's no planet out there at all. at least not the one we are looking for.
IMO there is no planet 9 or X or whatever.

Science is sadly mostly politics, when a scientist or a group of scientists reputations are at stake they will do just about anything to keep that information from being studied. Regardless of if it's even true or not, a lot of them actively lobby against research on our own solar system.

Back when I was young, and Pluto still had planet status, I always thought that another reason the "Planet X" name stuck was because it would be the tenth planet, and X was the Roman numeral for ten. Just one more reason I wish NDT hadn't put out a hit on the planet named after Hades.

I thought the same thing. (Note: The rest of this comment verges on fan fiction) Sometime after the release of "Star Trek:Nemesis", I realized that the next Star Trek film would be the tenth. Since Pluto was still a planet and I'd hear of "Planet X" in sci-fi and speculation my whole life, I thought the next film should be called "Star Trek: X". My idea for the plot was that a long unknown tenth planet in the sol system was somehow on a collision course with Mars colony.

IMHO, the worst thing about Pluto's demotion is "Planet X" USED to work on two levels: "X" for Roman numeral 10, and "X" for "unknown variable." But it's out the window now.
I have the same misgivings about the English language choosing "corn" over "maize": every fall, we could scare the kiddies with the thought of getting lost in a "maize maze!" (That would've been amazing...)
