Hello friends. So glad that you shared this. My choir will be singing it for Easter. The actor who portrayed Mary - when she danced with the black shroud representing a crucified Jesus, really helped capture the emotion that this piece deserves. Thanks again.

I sang this song in the choir. It took me like more than 10 times sining it on my own practicing it before I could sing it without crying. Such a loving and heartbraking and powerful song. I haven't found this song in years, still brings tears to my eyes 💗

I'm glad to hear it wasn't just me! I joined a choir earlier this year and we started learning this song a few weeks ago in preparation for Good Friday. The song was so moving that I had to stop singing the first time I heard it. Got through it without crying during the Good Friday service, but barely.

I am not a very religious person, but the beauty of the melody moved me into tears.

Very beautiful song. My school choir sang this for our Sacred Christmas concert. I love how you guys added Mary into it. Mesmerizing.

    Whats with the dancing lady?

The dancing lady is Mary. As in Jesus' mother. No offense but I think anyone else would've caught on.
