    Bula vinaka, as an indigenous iTaukei the lyrics have deep meaning and it gets me each time I hear this version. As you rightfully said bro, "kemuni na qase" has deep meaning as we remember our ancestors, elders and loved ones who have fought the good fight for the motherland. God bless Fiji!

    Got us in tears boo! This song is sooo beautiful. We’ve got it on repeat. Though we don’t know the lyrics and meanings, we are praying and thinking of beautiful FIJI and the globe 💗🙏🏻

    This song brings back memories of the COVID-19 Operations I was involved in for almost 3 months this year. It was during the height of the second wave and I tell you going out to the communities in some of the squatter settlements in Suva hits me really hard to the core seing the struggle they are in. I mean its painful because we are in a situation that we can't even help them because even we ourselves seemed to be trapped as well. But it's the little things that matters; the smile, the uttering of the word bula, the jokes, the music, the prayers, and the list goes on sort of numbs the pain and keep pushing us forward! Stay strong family🙏🏾

      Remembering my son who is a health worker during that time.
      He worked soo hard day and night 🌙 with little sleep or proper meal....when I tell him to rest.....he keeps saying .....THE PEOPLE NEEDS ME 😭
      Proud of him

    It is indeed a deep and moving song for our great nation. It's not the affluence but the beautiful hearts of the people that overflows with warmth and vibrant joy. Our humbling posture before
    our GOD will enable us to lend to many nations and borrow from none.
    Let's keep singing with Thanksgiving.

    I can totally relate to the feeling of being guilty that you’re far away from loved ones especially when they’re sick or in their death bed and you feel like you should’ve been there or that things would maybe go different if you were there 😭 even though we making a life of our own out here and away from our vanua lomani, there will always be a part of you that just gets crushed into a million pieces when you hear about everything bad happening back in Fiji 💯😭 We made a home out here but everything in us and all the morals and values is because of “na noda qase” 💯🥺

      You said it so perfectly, it’s definitely hard to be far away and to see things happen to our beloved nation of FIJI. And I agree I’ve always said UK is home but my heart will always be FIJI

    This song was composed for a reason for the People of this Beautiful Nations to understand that this Nation was given to the Almighty to lead and Protect us.Our grandparents were given the vision of what was going to happen niw so in order to save our people we need to humble ourselves stop the discrimination and fighting.let us stand together pray ,fast and sing to the Lord Almighty just like the Ninevites the Israelites when Jeoshphat,Joshua lead them out they turn back to the Lord..If no we will be like Sodom and Gomorrah lets hold hands and love one another if we keep on fighting than where do we give space for the Almighty to fight our battle when you waje up in the morning pray and sing this song to calm you for a days work and let the Holy Spirit lead the way just like our African brothers and sisters when they were fighting for their freedom.Comon lets sing together and praise God for all he has done and will be doing for us 😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

    As a Tourism Worker here in Fiji being on laid off and due the current situation in Fiji. We can say that COVID maybe a fake news but for me its reality in terms of the number of fatality rate as I've witness bringing my cousin sisters body from CWM morgue. All we need is to unite in prayers for our beloved nation.. This song delivers a very powerful message😢😢

      @HeyitsEddie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I absolutely agree with you on this, at first I was one of many that believed it was another fake fiji news but when I had family members in hospital due to covid it became a reality to me. And I’m sorry for your loss. Thoughts at prayers to you and your family and yes it definitely does. Thank you for taking the time to watch my video 🙏🏽🥺

    I broke down in tears too the first time I heard this song. You’re absolutely right, it’s very difficult for us Fijians living abroad to see our beloved Nation going through so much pain & struggle. But I thank the Lord for the resilience our people have. Na yalo ni Loloma kei na veikauwaitaki . I’m so proud to be Fijian & I can’t wait for the borders to open so I can finally go home🥲❤️🇫🇯.
