My prodigal teen daughters have been alienated for three years now. I'm told it's because of my traditional Catholic faith.
I have prayed, had Masses offered, cried and pleaded with Saint Monica, Mother Mary and God. No matter. And I have absolutely no consolation whatsoever. So today I ask them once again to revert my daughters. And I will ask no more.
Trust in the Good lord, mother Mary has them in her hands give your sufferings, tears all your being to Her. She is our beloved mother who intercedes for us at every moment. Give it and lay it down at her feet, please don't worry, just hand it over. From one mum to another I know your pain and it can be unbearable at times. Have faith and hope and we must trust. Sometimes we do not see the fruits of our prayers but pray that Gods Will be done and that He may be glorified, He is in charge of everything and will not abandon you and your family
I beg you to to not lose hope. I have two sons that are both very far from the Faith and it seems only since I myself have come back to the Faith that they have moved further away. I'm giving up the rest of my life to prayer, fasting and sacrifice for their salvation. More than likely we may never see the fruits of our prayers, my father didn't for me. Never give up hope. Pray the 12 years prayer as well
Like no Catholics from non-traditional backgrounds have left the church, right? Numbers in "normal" parishes are sky-rocketing?
