I was at this show as well! In the afternoon before the performance, we could hear them rehearsing Tour de France through the side door of the theatre. It was also the only time I saw them with their older gear (before the front-facing podiums). As well, they performed Pocket Calculator at the front of the stage. Florian was letting people in the audience push buttons on his controller, until it stopped working. At that point, he just swung it around and danced a little bit. Great show!
This recording is fantastic. I saw the Detroit show and got to meet Ralf afterwards when they all hung out at Motor Lounge. Florian was horsing around in the bathroom with a disposable camera and an acquintance... he was laughing about something.. Someone from their crew dj'd a bit. Anyone who remembers that night feel free to add below in a reply.
Hmm, this is actually a remastered bootleg, the original sounds a lot more muffled but also has less distortion in the loud parts. It's obviously not taken from the soundboard as there is no true stereo separation, it's a well made audience recording. Also this bootleg fades out the ending of Tango, the song is complete in the original recording.
