Usually turkey lunch meat is cured, smoked and or cooked for a while. I have never had under cooked lunch meat before! :)

Won’t the meats or cheese spoil at room temperature? Lunch sits in my kid’s bag for 5 and 1/2 hours before she can eat it. She says the school lunch is so bad and wants lunch from home and I’m clueless what to make apart from PB sandwiches

That can be challenging. A good cooler bag with an ice pack helps!
