    How much cream cheese did you use? I didn’t know so I did this recipe with 4 oz of cream cheese and it was delicious! Topped with whip cream, coconut flakes, and strawberries 😋😋😋

      There's 125g or 4.4 ounces, so 4 ounces would be about right. Sounds like delicious toppings. Here's the full recipe for next time - yummyinspirations.net/2018/07/keto-chocolate-mousse-with-cream-cheese/

    Looks delicious - we bet you could even add Sweet Drops, which is a flavored liquid Stevia for an added kick! They have an English Toffee flavor that would compliment the cocoa beautifully!

    I am so curious how this cacao powder works out. I tried to make keto chocolate mousse with real melted dark 85% chocolate and it was really bitter. Maybe this works better!

    • @YummyInspirations
      @YummyInspirations  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I've made chocolate mousse with melted chocolate and cacao powder before - both are delicious. Just taste once it's done and see if it's sweet enough, otherwise add more stevia or your sweetener of choice until it's perfectly sweet to your liking!

      Keto Sophia The cacao is a bit bitter so I use more stevia. Just FYI

    Hi, your mousse looks delicious but I'm not a lover of chocolate flavour mousse, ice cream, brownies etc is there anything I can substitute for the cocoa/chocolate? I am researching keto, hoping to start and looking for inspiration/information, thank you! :)

      Robin Dewitt can you share the recipe?

    • @robindewitt7767
      @robindewitt7767 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pascale Devalet I threw it together with what I had already in my frig and pantry. I used extra firm tofu (1 block, liquid drained). Put in food processor with 1/4 cup carob powder, a 1/3 cup stevia, teaspoon of vanilla. Chill well at least a couple hours. It turns out like a pudding. You can fold in non-dairy whipped cream for a mousse. Sometimes I add a small splash of coconut milk or almond milk to make it extra creamy. I don’t really have a specific recipe, it’s just what I like.

    How many net carbs

    • @ForceFreeTrainergirl06
      @ForceFreeTrainergirl06 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      All you have to do is add up the carbs of each item and then divide it by the servings. I cup of cream is about 6 carbs, cream cheese none, about 3 in the coco powder. If divided in two portions, I'd say 6 carbs maybe for one portion off the top of my head. But the recipe if you click on the link says just over 2carbs. I'd add melted unsweetened or semi sweet chocolate as well say 50 grams so that might take it up to 5carbs

      Just calculated macros for you, it makes 4 servings and each serving has 218 Calories, 22.3g Fat, 3.5g Protein, 2.4 Net Carbs. Enjoy! :)
