When I was a Boy in the Philippines, I was so silent, Teacher thought that I was not a smart kid. Eventually I have bad grades from Grade 1 to Grade 6. But that didn't stop me from becoming one of the best in the class. So what I did I read books, many books from novel , mathematics, science and business. I graduated not with honors in High School, but I let it known from Valedictorian and other top of the class that I am as smart as them. I was ahead of them in learning, I already read the schools books of my eldest brothers who was 4 years older than me. By reading books I have accomplish a lot after high school.

I'm here to just watch this video for my module. But when I started to watch and observe this video. I became an emotional. Ang instruction na nasa module ko is to assess and evaluate the speech and the speaker with the rubrics pa. And thanks to all kasi nahanap ko to. Napakaganda!😊❤

The thing is not everyone can read and understand english properly. Since english is prized than local languages, no books will save the poor and underrepresented. So, yeah.

use nuance. the message isnt “reading will save the poor” .. the point is that for those who are privileged to have the ability to read, we must use it to our advantage to help ourselves and other people by obtaining new knowledge to be a better version of ourselves. for the speaker, he was able to overcome his struggles through sharing books and reading them.
