  • Jonathan Yabut honored the Philippines by becoming the first winner of Apprentice Asia, the official Asian version of the popular American reality series. His favorite word, for which there is no English counterpart, best describes him, and indeed, all Filipinos. That word is "diskarte."
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

One of my most fave videos so far. Jonathan, you are very inspiring and the motivation you have is so contagious that I wanted to jump out of my bed and be out there to be somebody just like you.

I agree with Jonathan. think that what made him win was when he emphasized Andrea’s lack of focus.

How can this be inspiring? It’s all about “I” and “I hate”?! All but just his story?! “Work smart and not hard”… that’s old.. anything new you can share?

This is supposed to be good Ted talk? Blabbering about things you did on a show and inserting some quips that you usually read from memes? Where's the novel idea? Or the breakthrough technology? Or even results of a research that you did to interpret some human behavior?
