Wow. It's already been 2 years since...all of this...happened and it honestly feels like I just cried yesterday night. What I'm about to say is something that's been in my mind for the past 2 years as I've mentioned before. So here goes (warning, might be long though): I've read comments about what happened back there, with Jessica leaving the group and all, on this song and on the other one which is Divine. Those that I've seen said that 'even though this song mentions them having an unbreakable bond and being indestructible, Jessica left the group. How indestructible indeed.' or something along those lines. To summarize it, they're being sarcastic. But then a thought came to me. What if it was the other way around? Like you know, instead of treating the song as some kind of a farewell or a sarcastic reminder that the girls have lied to us why not treat it as some kind of reminder? Maybe it is a kind of farewell where the girls remind us just who really is Girls' Generation and that no matter what happens they have this unbreakable bond. They have been together for a long time after all, adding the years they were only trainees. The way they met each other is like a fairy tale, friends for years and then suddenly they're spending their lives with each other. Well that's that. I don't really know why I've decided to post this when everything's over but I guess it's just to take off some things in my chest.
I like your thoughts on this song. I think the girls truly believed in their unbreakable bond. They say that you should never mix business and friendship and that is the cruel situation that inevitably lead to the split. If the girls were just like friends in an ordinary friends situation without competing business interests getting in the way I am sure that they all would still be together as friends. It must have been very difficult for the group staying together with all the immense pressure they have been under all these years with schedules, rehearsals, performances etc and I really do salute them for staying on board for us fans. I don't really know why I've decided to post this when everything's over but I guess it's just to take off some things in my chest.
I like your thoughts on this song. I think the girls truly believed in their unbreakable bond. They say that you should never mix business and friendship and that is the cruel situation that inevitably lead to the split. If the girls were just like friends in an ordinary friends situation without competing business interests getting in the way I am sure that they all would still be together as friends.
It must have been very difficult for the group staying together with all the immense pressure they have been under all these years with schedules, rehearsals, performances etc and I really do salute them for staying on board for us fans. Thanks again for your great post.
The other thing that I want to salute them for is how they are still able to stand up and smile no matter how much others wanted them to stay down. You are also welcome and thank you for the reply as well.
