    The Sacramento Kings visited the Los Angeles Clippers and the pace was dizzying, the shooting percentages were outrageous, and they gave us an insane ending in regulations plus TWO overtimes which led to the second highest scoring game of all time in the NBA, and Coach Nick is here to break it all down.

      Have to agree with bigsnacks23 somewhat here. Kings rarely get credit, and often get undeservedly dumped on. Case in point: at 8:24 “Fox air-balling the 5-foot floater” was a Leonard tipped shot, and at 9:01 “Another bad miscue by Fox in the lane” was an uncalled kicked ball. Preconceived narratives result in said narratives. Easy to do with the Kings. Clippers should have won, or were in a better position to win, but the Kings still had to make plays and shots all game long, and did.

    Sweet video, really detailed descriptions of the plays. And such an insane amount of scoring! I was wondering how the clippers were going to properly defend fast breaks, as they are a somewhat slowfooted team overall. Russ certainly isn't slow, but he isn't the most reliable defender. Also, from these clips, there seems to be a bit of a lack of movement in the clippers offense. Still, nice to see they are competative against another good team.

      The other team isn't just any other team, they have 2 of the fastest guys in the NBA playing at the same time. Even on a SEGABABA, they want to wear you out through 3 quarters so your legs are dead in the 4th.
      But Kawhi never seems to get tired!

    When are you going to make an in-depth analysis of the current Clippers, Coach? I've been thinking that the Clippers seem to always have some of the best players in the world and some really solid role-players, but they don't seem to get very far. The game vs the Kings was amazing so I thought that maybe they've gotten stronger, but rn they still seem to be struggling. What's your take on the Clippers, Coach? I've noticed that they always choke in the most important moment. The only consistent player they have is Kawhi.

    So many mental mistakes by Clippers. The big factor I saw in this video was Clippers wanting to prove they can win without relying too much on Leonard, when Leonard should be the one in control of the ball to calm the team down. They knew they were making history, and they wanted to appease The Klaw - all it did was give the Kings a huge confidence boost that could result in a season series victory. And if they get that victory, Kings are in playoffs. It's 2012-13 season all over again where Clippers turn Warriors into title contenders because they didn't take Golden State seriously.
    As for the Westbrook signing, by doing so, Clippers are on the hot seat. Lawrence Frank and Tyronn Lue's jobs are on the line, and Paul George is at risk of getting traded. Clippers are in an ultimatum season now.

    another example of why russ is one of the worst players in the league in plus/minus, esp. since he lost his bounce and can't score at the rim anymore. dude has rocks for brains and becomes a turnover machine when the play breaks down and he has to think for himself. not what the clippers needed. i predict their win percentage goes down after him joining.

    Dang, this video show how bad Westbrook play defense and it's the little thing that really cost them the game. I already knew this before he became a Clippers. He doesn't play D, period....especially team defense. If you're a discipline team in crunch time, there is no way you can afford to have that kind of player on the floor. His only strength is scoring but his bad defense can basically offset what he did on offense sometimes.

      @spaceghostcqc2137 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      he makes sense for their roster. It was dumb for the lakers because they had to give up a big chunk of their team plus a huge amount of cap space. Clips gave up nothing and are paying WB the minimum so it's basically zero downside. If it doesn't work just don't play him.
