1 minute of wall sit, not even 90 degrees, reduced intermittent knee pain to almost 0 overnight. Highly recommend since you can do it while brushing your teeth!
Nice, I'm already doing these five things except I do world's greatest stretch and a couple other exercises from Elements at lunch instead of in the morning.
Because down dog is a yoga position, which implies a whole cultural context that doesn't apply to what we do. And different yoga teachers emphasize different things in the pose, depending on their own preferences. We're doing what we're doing, and the A-frame has its own instructions that are independent of whatever you may happen to think you know about yoga or any specific asana.
@@gmbfit thank you for the reply. The cultural differences can be stark, I agree. I was asking because I wondered what I should be doing differently from a purely mechanical perspective.
@@thomaswalker2692 From a purely mechanical POV, please focus specifically on the instructions we provide. We say the most important things, and we deliberately don't ay anything that's not a priority. If you're wondering about a specific technical part of the movement, there's a 99.99% chance it's much less important than the specific we've included.
Nice, simple, love it. You mentioned morning routine - and it got me thinking, are you planning on making the daily Battery routine available again any time in the future ?
@@gmbfitThanks for clarifying. I am a community member, but not alpha posse member. Would there be any consideration to making it a purchasable course through the community page for non-AP members?
The movements we teach are still great and functional for "non-typical" bodies. Unless you have a really good reason you shouldn't be practicing them, the same bear, monkey, etc. movement variations I teach in almost every video are literally what I recommend for almost everyone. I have only VERY rarely met anyone who can't make loads of progress by training these movements.
I walk every day everywhere. Brisk walking often. I dont even know to drive a car. It has build my legs below the knee so even bodybuilders on sorcery are looking wondering how, and the women also stare at my ankles and bulging veins and tendons and calves and shins when its summer.
@@gmbfit I dont want to sound arrogant. Someone with a car killed a cat that i love, it happened before to other cats. I live in a small city in Bosnia but everyone must have a car and go everywhere with a car. These people cant take a walk? I cant even walk over sidewalks sometimes, drivers took it over. They drive fast, killing people too. Something evil is going on with the people, like possessed, I believe its the sorcery/pharmacy. Maybe you live in a big city but here there is really no need to even use a car when you can reach a place in 10 min on foot. I love GMB, all the best.
@@pauldisney1325 Ryan here - I like Xeros that have a bit of cushion because they are roomy and feel good on my feet. But, I still wear Vans from time to time as well.

I had never heard of that, but I checked it out and just turned it on - thanks for the encouragement :)
I love GMB Fitness.
GMB loves you back :)

That's great!
I love the simple and intuitive things, that’s why your programs are so logical and “easy” to implement. You continually inspire me, thanks again.
I can definitely spare a few minutes for morning mobility. So, guess that's what I'm doing going forward. :)
Right on :)
I fell off the habit train but will get back to vitamin & elements this year - starting with these 😊
Very inspiring! Thanks a lot!
You bet!
Thank you! Happy New Year! 🤗☀️💖🙏

Going to do some lunges and go for a walk. Thanks for the motivation!

Thank you for the great info. But how is the A frame not the same thing as downward dog?

I always say that walking is the best full-body exercise there is.
Can't go wrong with that.

Ryan- saw you wearing a pair of wide toe box (maybe zero drop?) shoes in that video. What kind are they?
They are Xero HFS II 👍
