I understand the concept but the ski had been out of the water for eight years and it was already had dry pipe to begin with so wasn’t any water in the system
I’ve got the same exact ski, bought it new off the showroom floor and fires up every season no problem never touched a thing other than replace a battery ever other year. Ole reliable!

I would not lay it over exhaust up , water will go back up the exhaust into the cylinder . Lay it exhaust down only .
