If I watched this video with the sound off I would have sworn Emma was staying in one of the fancy exclusive suites. There was so much space! And those chairs on the balcony looked so comfortable. And she even tested the amount of space under the bed, hands on. Now that's going above and beyond. Norwegian and Emma continue to be a fantastic pairing!
Hi Emma, I agree with John Dalecki.'s comment. I am booked in a standard cabin on the Norwegian Jewel. There is no couch, and no desk. Is the cabin this large and well furnished because it is on the Norwegian Prima ? This doesn't seem like a standard balcony cabin.
This series of videos that Emma has done on the Norwegian prima has really changed my mind about them. This looks like the best standard balcony room I've ever seen in a cruise ship. Really well done review! I typically don't watch reviews on Norwegian ships but because Emma was doing it I knew it would be thorough and it was!
Love the Emma Cruises review, always thorough and entertaining and always honest. It does look like a very nice stateroom and that is usually the balcony category that I book for the two of us. I am enjoying the Prima videos from Emma's perspective and looking forward to a Prima sailing in the near future.

Literally off the Prima a day ago. I want my 10140 every time! GM Marc and staff took such good care of me. We hit a major storm on our journey from NYC to Iceland. We were trapped AT SEA for two days extra off northern Iceland, but the Prima handled it just as she should have...we rocked and rolled, but we all insist she was quite steady based on waves we encountered! Captain Kevin is brilliant. Emma, Nita OUT!
The first thing I usually check when I get to my room is the bathroom. I wasn’t planning on going on another big ship anytime soon, but Emma’s reviews of the NCL Prima may have changed my mind.
Absolutely awesome, Prima is our next cruise. Carnival has a great deal to learn: We have pictures and videos how dysfunctional and filthy our Carnival State rooms were on the Mardi Gras and Celebration.

Stunning ship, glorious cabin - I wish! FYI, if you use the term "rooting around" in Australia it has a very, very different meaning. I think it's the same in New Zealand but you should be ok so long as you're not a sheep.
The staterooms on Prima were super nice and the bathroom was fantastic. I did not really like the ship over all, to many spaces that were too small. But the stateroom was fantastic.

hey, i'm on this ship right now and this is the nicest boat i've been on. im on deck 5 in a window room and time-lapsing nature as we go by (the chair fits between bed and window and using the window ledge as a laptop desk so i recommend a window room even just for this purpose to be able to sit at the window and watch the ocean go by). thank you for your recommendation for indulge food hall - it's definitely been my fave place (the indian food is much better than the places at home). i have been super hesitant to pay $2 for my undies to be washed, 3 weeks on this boat, and getting more practice than i ever wanted washing my clothes in the shower and sink. but we're half way thru and i know i'm going to have to bite the bullet and just pay for laundry. (i hadnt realized that NCL doesnt have public laundry like my last long cruise on princess - oops my bad! thats what i get for not being a thorough planner)
I am always paranoid about ‘do not disturb’ signs so that feature would help me relax so much more. As would the knowledge that I could sleep under the bed if necessary (well, maybe not so much that one). Great video, I still can’t believe that your content has made me go from hating the idea of a cruise to a lot of daydreaming about one!

The cabins seem pretty, modern and big. But , what about hearing noises from others cabins? Recently I read some reviews and people talk that the cabins doesn’t have appropriate noise canceling walls.
Yeah I could hear some conversations, but luckily we had a family next door so we never had any problems in the evenings or anything with noise. Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
Amazing! Emma can you elaborate on what a “soft close” drawer is? Watched that part 5 times and still don’t understand not sure if that’s a British ism lol but I understand you mean that it doesn’t make noise I just am wondering what’s that being compared to as none of my drawers make noise when I close them haha is it automatic close? Anyway, the room looks amazing! Hope to cruise on Prima one day! Love the balcony chairs and the shower!
My biggest gripe with NCL has been the chairs they have on the balcony. They are defiantly not plus size friendly and are extremely uncomfortable. These chairs on the prima balcony look much more comfortable and I would like to suggest to Norwegian that they consider changing out balcony to more comfortable chairs like these ones or something somewhat similar.
@@EmmaCruises It's possible that the newer and larger ships do have better balcony chairs. I've only been on the Gem and Pearl and the balcony chairs are really small with metal bar handles where you really have to squeeze yourself into them. A lot of times I will just take the desk chair out on to the balcony and sit on that.
I Emma in thumbnail and insta click. She called this a standard balcony cabin. Well, I can't see anywhere else that anything about this cabin would be called standard. It was luxury all the way. Emma calls it as she sees it on her channel and I don't think she did any different on her review for Norwegian. Her review might as well have said it lived up to the ships name. Everything that she showed and described was Prima, no doubt about that.
Just had a funny thought. Is it ok to ask for the room to be made up while you are still on it? Also, what happens if you have expensive items and something disappears? Do you need to take insurance for that?
Not really through of sailing Norwegian before, do they have all the extra price charges that P&O don’t charge you Emma please? Tips, port taxes etc..?
Hey Jackie, if you book a NCL cruise from the UK it'll include all the taxes and fees but you will have to add on gratuities yep. Apart from that its the same :)

They still use a fish carpet pattern on some newer NCL ships, also. They have it aboard Encore, which we sailed to Alaska.

The cabins seem pretty, modern and big. But , what about hearing noises from others cabins? Recently I read some reviews and people talk that the cabins doesn’t have appropriate noise canceling walls.
Yeah I could hear some conversations, but luckily we had a family next door so we never had any problems in the evenings or anything with noise. Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼

Amazing! Emma can you elaborate on what a “soft close” drawer is? Watched that part 5 times and still don’t understand not sure if that’s a British ism lol but I understand you mean that it doesn’t make noise I just am wondering what’s that being compared to as none of my drawers make noise when I close them haha is it automatic close? Anyway, the room looks amazing! Hope to cruise on Prima one day! Love the balcony chairs and the shower!

My biggest gripe with NCL has been the chairs they have on the balcony. They are defiantly not plus size friendly and are extremely uncomfortable. These chairs on the prima balcony look much more comfortable and I would like to suggest to Norwegian that they consider changing out balcony to more comfortable chairs like these ones or something somewhat similar.
Really?! I don’t remember the other chairs but I think they’re the same as all the other lines, from memory. ❤
@@EmmaCruises It's possible that the newer and larger ships do have better balcony chairs. I've only been on the Gem and Pearl and the balcony chairs are really small with metal bar handles where you really have to squeeze yourself into them. A lot of times I will just take the desk chair out on to the balcony and sit on that.
I'd like to try NCL but unfortunately they do very few cruises under 7 days, which is too long for me.

I Emma in thumbnail and insta click. She called this a standard balcony cabin. Well, I can't see anywhere else that anything about this cabin would be called standard. It was luxury all the way. Emma calls it as she sees it on her channel and I don't think she did any different on her review for Norwegian. Her review might as well have said it lived up to the ships name. Everything that she showed and described was Prima, no doubt about that.

Just had a funny thought. Is it ok to ask for the room to be made up while you are still on it? Also, what happens if you have expensive items and something disappears? Do you need to take insurance for that?

Hey Jackie, if you book a NCL cruise from the UK it'll include all the taxes and fees but you will have to add on gratuities yep. Apart from that its the same :)
