Thanks for the video. There really isn’t much out there on these machines so I’m sure this video will do well!

Thanks ... I plan to share more content as I learn all the features and options of the machine. It is an amazing machine. I have 13 hours on it now and I'm thoroughly impressed.
Stay tuned for more and thanks again.

I own a ecr58d and I love Volvo machines and their cabs are sized very nicely compared with than most Japanese brands but my 58d and their other mini’s have a totally different feel compared to most other brands, almost like the boom arm is a little bit delayed or is trying to catch up to its self, And gives a very floaty feel when grading or doing fine work. A friend who traded back an ecr35 after 400 hours as he couldn’t stand the way it felt , I also had a go in it and found it very sloppy. Interested to see if they are getting better with the newer models.

I really liked the cab in the ECR58 but at the time I was looking I wasn't able to get one. Ended up with a Yanmar, and am very happy with it but the cab is definitely not as roomy.

I wasn't able to run the pedals to track backwards in the Yanmar, that was a factor because my 35 was the same way. The biggest reason I didn't buy Yanmar was my local dealer. Small rental company and he doesn't stock any new machines, the service area was small and I just felt that the excavators weren't a priority for them. I think having a good dealer nearby is a major contributor to what to buy. Let's face it, all these minis are pretty darn good.

Why did you choose the 50 instead of the 58?

I don't have a CDL and need to bring multiple buckets and sometimes other items in my truck. This keeps me safely under 26,000 pounds. My WB tilt bucket is 675lbs, then WB 30" digging bucket is about 350lbs and the WB 18" bucket is 275lbs. My tool box is likely 500lbs. They all add up.
      Thanks for the comment/question.

Hi and thanks for commenting. I don't have a rotator. Those are super nice for finish work but add a fair amount of weight and it's one of those things that you don't miss until you've had one. Haha. Thanks for watching. More content coming soon. I have been super busy in the Sugarbush and have made 450 gallons of Maple syrup in the last week. Our Vermont Made channel is new but I have started uploading some content there as well.
