I have reached Rajasthan from Mumbai on my BMW s1000RR. Late night ride on sports bike is risky. The roads are unpredictable and never follow another car when after sunset and keep safe distance. We drove around 900 kms in 2 days on BMW s1000 RR and Toyota Fortuner from Mumbai to Jaisalmer.

For better fuel efficiency....ride bike in between 2000-3000 rmp with maintain speed from 80 to 100...in high gear...😊
Avg must be calculated from reserve to reserve to get accurate value. To improve fuel efficiency every gear has certain speed range if you ride in that window you will get good efficiency. Sudden gear shiftimg and brakimg also impacta the efficiency.
Maintain a constant speed at time intervals, apply less brakes, and control the bike only on speed(by not applying brakes). By doing so, brake liners also remain intact. Thus, you can achieve a good/decent mileage.
Riding your bike at higher speeds typically results in lower fuel economy due to increased wind resistance and higher engine RPMs, which can lead to increased fuel consumption. So, riding faster usually doesn't give you better fuel economy.⛽⛽⛽⛽⛽

To check proper mileage and since you have fortuner with you ek bar tank ko full kardo and ek litre petrol bottle me rkhke fortuner ya apne paas rakho. Then ride until tank dries out. Jitna total distance cover kiya usko divide krna. Mileage pata chal jayega. Then ek liter petrol bottle wala dalke go to next petrol pump

bhai i too own same bike same colour ..to get good milage you need to drive it in 6 gear around n below 120 baki agr bhagaoge toh milage drop hoga hi firbi apke wali ka milage acha h kyuki youve got bmw certified long can akra evolution series exhaust baki agr koi aur dusra exhaust raha toh usse bhi milage kam aata hai ..toh crusing around 120 you ll get good milage jaise hi you ll go above 150-160 bike a tuning aisa h ki woh above 6000 rpm rahega n woh performance oriented ho jayega toh milage drop hoga

MSK bhai...For fuel efficiency don't hit rpm more than 7-8k and don't shift gears more frequently, try to ride on constant speed.
Used high gears like 5..6th and 7-8k rpm ...maybe you got your best avg!😅

Shifting gears at low RPM will result in good mileage. Shifting gears at high RPMs will result in low mileage.
That's why when you got open roads you pushed your bike to greater RPMs and you got low mileage.

Bhai 6th gear par constant speed 5-6k rpm par chalao average best aayegi.aur kisi bhi gear par 8-10 rpm par khichoge to average kam aayegi.
2 baar jo average Mila vo time pe apka normal speed 50-80 k bich tha bt last fuel trip me apka speed most of time above 100 tha so more acceleration more fuel consumption...drive on average speed of between 50-90..

As Of what I know mileage in superbikes depends on the throttle input and not on traffic or free roads
Cuz in these more the throttle more fuel consumed u have got better mileage in traffic cuz maybe u weren't hard on the throttle as much u are in the highways, so just don't go full throttle cuz it consumes fuel like open tap when the throttle is fully opened

You can control the average if you drive below 70 km/ hour. If you go above 100 km the average decreases.
