    Certainly a gamble setting up Moto Vlog setups. So many options out there and not always easy to get something perfect. I hope that one works for you, buddy.

    Well I don’t have an instagram, Facebook, or any other social media. But I am a combat vet with 21 years of service. I have owned multiple HD’s throughout my life. I like your bike reviews and side by side comparisons. Currently have a RKS, I just like the open road no fairing. Last bike was a Road Glide special. I recently had an accident and had both knees operated on right before the peak of riding season where I live. I just bought my bike in January and had been working on it all winter in the anticipation of a awesome summer. Lots of rides planned, camping gear bought but instead I was drugged out with both legs in braces and having my wife to help take a shower. It’s sucks. But with determination and some hard work hoping to be back on the bike with my wife by the end of August. Thank you for the content, and keep the shiny side up.

    Just wanted to say thanks for this video. Been trying to find a good microphone. Just bought a new helmet and really needed a better version then the off brand Amazon lapel mics I’ve been trying to use.
    Good stuff Man!! Thanks again!

    My son came to me a few months ago and told me he wanted a motorcycle. I said you don't need one to dangerous. He talked me into going to the Harley Davidson dealership to look at bikes. I knew nothing about the models. He asked me which one I liked. I looked around and picked the Street Bob. We were just looking. Next thing I know I want one . I got a divorce beginning of the year and the only thing that has put a smile on my face is knowing I going to get one soon. I come across your channel and I like your vs videos. Now I torn between street bob and low rider s. By the way the 26th would have been my 27th anniversary .

    I used my GoPro Hero8 for a long time with a Chinese brand stereo microphone and my audio is very acceptable as you can see in my previous videos.Now I started having problems with the microphone cable, it must be broken and stopped making contact. I'm trying out a setup just like yours, but I still think the audio with the GoPro is better Thank you for your attention.

    That microphone is way too sensitive and sometimes gives you clipping levels. Maybe you should consider using a different microphone like Zalman. The only problem with that is that it has a super long cable but it has a nice clip to attach it to the intercom mic which works for me.

    Your audio is good. Personally I've found using a cheap MONO microphone works for me. I place it in the same location as you, right in front of the old word hole. For some reason a MONO mic seems to cut out a lot of wind and ambient noise. In post you do need to convert your mono audio to mono stereo. I use FCP and it's super easy. One other tip, because the mic is practically in your mouth, get in the habit of speaking at a normal, even volume, as if at a coffee shop and for the love of God don't try and talk over the wind and ambient noise, your mic is not picking up what your ears are. Good luck and have fun!

      What mic do u use ? Like where should I get one

  • @SquireSCA
    @SquireSCA ปีที่แล้ว

    How do you not get the audio blown out when riding? Mine sounds great with a Giant Squid mic, but as soon as I get rolling, the loudness of the road and the exhaust, blows out the audio... clipping, crackling and distortion... And that is with the Insta360 One RS mic gain control turned down to -18dB.
    Really looking for a simple wired solution. I just want to mount the OneRS 4K to helmet, plug in the wired mic that is hidden inside the helmet with TWO wind socks on it...

    been slowly building my moto kit and my bike... looking to do some trips. I know what you mean about the helmet choice🤣
    I'll look into a quieter helmet maybe this black friday...
    buddy and I split a cardo dual pack to test things out... I'm having issues with the speakers, the left side doesn't work well at all. Likely going to replace with the bigger 45mm speakers Ridin' Dad recommended. His motovlog setup sounds good. Not sure what he's running exactly, beyond an Arai helmet.
    The insta360 is the most intriguing camera system I've seen... being able to look in all directions is a big plus.
    Once we get all that settled, we'll get the wife's setup with their helmets and sound (too hot for them to ride 2up right now 🤣)
