I think an "IMSCARED" video could be good, because the lore is open to interpretation and your channel does a lot of theories, also i really enjoyed this one, def sharing it with my friends
I had an idea about the date discrepency. Sigurd mentions and then the logs are finished by a member of the team who has some computer knowledge. I, too, have some IT systems knowledge, particularly for 'Closed System' networks that are set up for a local network rather than a global one. Closed system networks are common in schools and workplaces, interconnected with each other and company servers, but with no access to wider Internet. This enables things like a secure emailing system, or a logging system that is accessable from any networked terminal. However, local networks have a storage problem, so it's prudent to set up a clean up program that purges anything that is Too Old to keep everything else running at a decent speed HOWEVER, computers need really specific instructions or they'll dump their own system files if given the command to delete EVERYTHING from date Y or older. Instead, you set the system to dump everything made on date X, where X is the current date minus a month ( standard practice ). So back dating logs to prevent the system from dumping them mighta been what the techy kid did to help them keep their logs.
The Company having a closed system would make total sense considering its state, and the fact that they/it likely doesn't want the employees to have outside access. Clearly Desmond is very competent with the tech considering what he's able to do with regard to tracking the Company, so it wouldn't be at all out there for him to know how to do this too. This is a really good potential reason!
@@panopticontheatre thanks! My father worked automations, specifically setting up climate control systems for multi floor buildings and desinging End User UI once the hardwear was installed, so discussions about the lil human errors people make that cause the system to goof were common dinner table conversation. The best way to hide something on a computer is to take a common problem caused by human error and do it on purpose
Haha, you don't actually get a whole lot of time to read the data packs and stuff in game unless your friends LOVE spending hours in the bathroom, and some of them are pretty hard to find too, so when I started to properly research it all I was really surprised by how much there actually was!
Yeah you're maybe right the purpose of the company is to keep feeding the monster so it won't eat another planet that's why the new workers keep collecting scraps from different planets
Great video as always, keep it up!
Thank you! :)
This is the first Lethal Company lore analysis I've seen, its very informative keep it up :3❤
Glad you think so! 💜

So glad you enjoyed!
Ooh that's a good shout, I don't remember much about it but I remember it being interesting! I'll definitely add it to my list :)

Back again for a rewatch!
Each time the game updates I get so worried this whole video is going to become incorrect, but so far it's still relevant lolll. Enjoy your rewatch!

I wonder tho, maybe it wants to be fed so it gets stronger and can break out of the concrete 🤔 maybe we're just powering it up
We were always doomed from the beginning!
😔
