Favourite female fighting game character King finally arrived and they did a pretty good job, Harumi ikoma voicing her is still great see over all these years, not the biggest fan of how she looks buts its not terrible. I like the nod to Jan being sick so I hope if they adapt Art of Fighting 2 we get to see Ryo and Robert donating the money to helping her brother. Seems like the origin is the same with the Woman Fighters (or Queens as they put it) Mai and Yuri annoyed they aren't teaming up with Andy and Ryo respectively. Good to see them use a lot of their moves and hoping Yuri gets her iconic outfit soon. Was odd seeing GEese work with Rugal but as crime bosses I could see it working for a bit, I would've expected Rugal to at some point to desire Geese for his statue collection but we'll see if they fight each other.
They made this animation a modern retelling of the King of Fighters franchise, meaning that it took place in the modern era instead of in the 90s'. This also suits the needs of the current viewers who just gotten into the franchise. This animation did a good job in balancing the story elements, with a bit of funny moments. In some sense, Kyo was wise enough to search for the names of all of the participants as it might be connected to Orochi which was an accurate guess, though he also keeps things at his home in check, except for the part where he overhears his parents' awkward conversation through phone. The animation display Kyo being proud of his strength, but keeps some possibility in check and more responsible in his duties. Found it funny on King daydreaming about money, with an awkward stare from Yuri

I got to say despite the low quality cgi, I've been really liking the story so far. They really do an excellent job of depicting all the characters and incorporating their movesets into the action. I got to ask has his father ever been depicted in a game? I'm just throwing it out there that it would be very cool to see him in a future Kof game.
