Lord Teach Me to Pray - Apostles' Creed

In order to help the people to learn quickly the main trunks of the Christian religion, missionaries began to gather these from the different parts of the Bible and to put them together in what we call 'creed'. One creed which is so old that some think it goes back to the time of the Apostles is called "The Apostles' Creed". It contains twelve truths of the Christian religion.
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord.
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the virgin Mary.
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and is sitteth at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
from thence he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.

The third day he rose again from the dead? why again? He only rose from the dead once! The third day he rose from the ded. he ascended to heaven. The again word has my head messed up. I want to know if this is only me or do others have this same issue?
