Here’s a tip to start off and this is no joke as funny or weird as it sounds but rap inside your head but visualize yourself in front of a crowd or something like that, that can stimulate adrenaline and try to fully immerse yourself in the day dream like state while having headphones on playing a beat. Once you can hear your voice clearly and you sound the way you like in your head then the next step would be to actually start vocalizing it for real but for practice purposes make sure your 100% alone so you can build up self confidence in your style and won’t have to worry about someone else hearing you or judging you. Then the next step would be to write down short little rhymes here and there then you’ll have a foundation to work on. I went from not be able to rap at all, to be able to freestyle with absolute ease but I’ve always had a knack for music though.
