Great interview! Ty could come back, Ty fake his dead and went into witness protection program to protect his family. I miss Ty and miss Ty and Amy beautiful love story.
I don't buy that killing him off was the proper way to go. There were other ways to have written him out. Even though he says he doesn't want back remember never say never. People can always change their minds & you need to be open to that choice.

As for real life nobody leaves their kids with their grandfather as much as Amy leaves her kid or Lou left her kids they should’ve added another Neighbor character like Mallory was to be hired for a babysitter they’re always dumping the kids on Jack
This was a wonderful interview. The journey that the characters went on was masterfully crafted and even though Graham Wardle left the series, he brought to life a character that inspired and gave hope to so many children in similar circumstances.
Keep picturing Amy's next partner being a pro hockey player, riding in on a motorcycle to Heartland.He is thinking about retiring and wants to learn about ranching as his next step.He wants to hire Jack to teach him about it.Jack offers him the loft while learning and to come back to when not on the road finishing out his last hockey season.Him and Amy slowly get to know each other and develop a relationship.
I have been watching season 15 in the states, but I am disappointed in how they are having Jack and Lisa being less affectionate with one another. Please let them be more of the loving couple, and the example for their family
You know & I know,Ty fell& went into a coma from a blood clot. He wakes up& life is so different than he dreamed. He & Amy can divorce or he fully recovers after time. They can choose to act together or have separate acting parts. But,I want them to act together on Heartland. Love Heartland! I'm addicted since repeats are on at 5am in Houston, Texas. I have been watching for only 4months & I love Heartland & actors.
So, if it’s the good writing, let’s write off the gay storylines. Does not belong on this show. There is a lot of devoted fans that are truly bummed over Rick and now in season 16, bringing on his “husband” and adopting a baby! It does not belong on this great family show.

John couldn't agree more. No Graham no storyline. I am one of many of those Canadians who were wishing Heartland had ended at end of season 13 on a happy note. Ty/Amy/Lyndy moving into there new home, the wild horses roaming through there property and Lyndy swinging on the swings Ty built for her. But no what do those producers do: they kill off there best actor for 13 years(Ty), give him no burial in the family cemetery, then change the storyline to a even more CBC soap!! Oh and of course start the process all over again that Amy needs more men to play off each other. That was her specialty so ya keep it going! Ridiculous!! And why?? All for the money and of course Amber's big cut in the souvenir sales of over priced Heartland stuff! The one comment HL Strong you mentioned is correct. It is the best show on CBC at the moment as we are in nothing but re-runs! And oh CBC is a soap opera station so Heartland would fit in just fine! I do enjoy your interviews with the actors HL Strong and keep commenting that's what good old freedom of speech is all about! I may not agree with you and you may not agree with my comments but that is ok! Just saying!
jc your country is absolutely beautiful! Though I have always known it was beautiful, I never really knew how gorgeous it was until I started watching Heartland. It is breathtaking. The actors are amazing and so talented and it is just a beautiful, loving and caring show. I am watching heartland for the 6th time since I discovered it in March and I absolutely love it, but I have not been able to watch season 14 and 15. I go up to 13 and then start over again. I was wondering the same thing about Ty's burial in the family plot and I agree that the show should have ended with The Borden family living happily ever after, especially with all they went through.
Love Heartland, miss Ty and Amy together. But I would love to see Jack and Lisa more, and Jack being more loving to her. An food for thought, alot of men and women, lose their soul mates and raise their children on their own,with help from family and friends. When you loss your solo mate, you don't want to find another love. It hurts to much the 1st time to go through it and I never want to go through it again.
Kudos for loosing the sound effects. If you get another producer or writer on soon you might ask how many episodes planned for Season 16. The production schedules I saw are about two and half months longer than the last three seasons. That would be long enough for 14 or 15 episodes.
The writing is superb....the actors make it come alive! Thank you to all the writers, actors, and production crew of Heartland. It’s the best family show ever on television!

Season 15 / 7 was good acting, but that was the only that was good. There is no pictures of her husband, except in next to the newspaper. Goes by the swing Lyndy that is my swing Amy just said what way do you want to go. Under two years and she is looking for a new love. Tim and Lou have taken over Heartland, they should have cut both of them. Lou is one of the problems along with Tim. They both are so self centered and interfering in others life. He never like Ty, look at the difference how he treated Ty on the cattle drive and how he treated quin. One had no money and the other had money. I do not see how they call this show wholesome when the bully is a hero and the Mayor jumps. From Ed to bed out side of marriage. What is that teaching our youth.
I never complained about Season 14. I thought Amber and the twins were over the top. I accepted that Graham left of his own free will and I hope the show overcomes his decisions.
Like the interview glad to put a face with the name I have seen for such of long time. I appreciate the writers of Heartland. It's not an easy job but all the good stuff written that has built and challenged the character to rims of great acting. I have always enjoyed the great talent that Amber displays, just living the scene. That to me is great acting or has been said " an imitation" either way works for me. Some of the best acting or imitation has come in Seasons 14 and 15 by the cast. Amber did an exceptional, emotional acting that I personal thought some of her best work.
I love Tim and Jack's relationship! It makes me laugh and it adds some spice. I am enjoying season 15. I was so tired of spoiled Amy. She always took 1st place in everything, and got her way, and Ty did anything for her. If she finds someone else, don't make it the same as her and Ty, let her have to chase the guy a bit instead of guys falling all over her. I am not a fan of Kate's character, she doesn't fit. Ty's mom needs to visit! Lou needs to have more grown up moments, appreciative instead of still being so dingy.

I think the reason Mark was talking about it is because people still ask me to ask about Graham.. and he assumes people want to talk about it but I agree it’s a little much and there’s so much other good storylines and just the whole program is so special and unique..Scott, Tim, Caleb, Jack, Logan so many interesting male characters there is no need to keep the focus on just one!
