Rush Hour Madness at the Oshawa GO Station on November 1, 2019. (Please Read the Description)

- This is something a little different that we wanted to try. We've spent a fair bit of time at the Oshawa GO (and VIA) station over the years. Every time that we've been there, we've always been fascinated by the rush of passengers off the platform from the incoming GO Trains and into their cars to get the heck out of there before the exits are all clogged up by congestion. I finally had a chance to do this rush some justice with a great view of the GO Transit platforms from the crossover bridge on the VIA tracks. From personal experience, a late exit can mean a fifteen minute delay in even getting out of the lot and out on the road home. The craziest thing we ever saw in The 'Shwa was a guy who had a fold up scooter with him, just so that he could use it to fly out into the parking lot and get in his car and go, go, go.
In this video we see a couple of trains at tracks 1 and 2 of the station. Track 2 sports a Metrolinx GO Transit Tier 3 (#663). Track 2 has a dual lashup of newer Tier 4 models (#670 and an unknown partner).

Thanks, Nick! You really got the intent behind the video. But consider this: If you work for roughly 200 days a year and take an extra 10 minutes to get out of the lot each day, you've lost almost a day and a half of your life in the parking lot every year... Mind numbing.
