I think my neighbors dislike my lawn for being the only non-crew cut lawn around. But my wife and I get all sorts of fascinating flora and fauna in our backyard just by keeping it 'native.' I wouldn't trade butterflies, frogs, and honey bees for the approval of others who rarely go outside.
