1:30 Suitcase chair. If cushion is memory foam…all one would need to do is unscrew legs and store on seat, close the suitcase and carry it to your next destination. Shouldn’t weigh more than legs, reinforcement, chain/washers/bolts, case and foam? (Note: Base of suitcase would need reinforcement and also solid chain/washers/bolts to keep back of chair/case-lid stable.)

I mean no offense to anyone with a beard, but I think each and every one of these men looks better without. (One dude does look like a lady but the right hair cut will fix that.) Men: ask yourself, would you make out with someone who has a face full of hair?

I used a tennis ball, took string and fastened the string to the ceiling of the garage. That way when I pulled my van in, and the tennis ball touched my windshield, I knew my van was in far enough so the garage door wouldn't hit the back of my van.

Actually, I haven't spent enough to such a kind of service(for my opinion), so always do everything by myself. You may have minimal skills for that.

Do your research. Dumpster diving is illegal in many jurisdictions and any citation you may get will exceed what you saved. Sorry, but you're making your own Christmas cards using very expensive papers and markers. What savings is that? You can get really inexpensive cards at places like Dollar Tree or even your own grocery store. Got really nice ones there and they often have sets that will benefit some local organization. Not bashing the handmade nature, which one really likes, it's just that you're not really being frugal.

When we were children, and well into our adult years, my brother always used comics from the Sunday paper to wrap gifts. Now, unfortunately, most of us have no access to real newspapers.

Pizza Hut also had "pong" game for while you were waiting. I tried to order their sandwich and salad delivered once and was told, "Nah. We only deliver pizzas!" Pizza and Chinese were the only things you could get delivered in those days.

I swear there is a timer in chips on kettles. Why is it no matter what brand or price I pay for a kettle they last 2 years, tops. Both my nan's had their kettles throughout all my childhood.

I grew up in the 60s and 70s if you were out and had to call home your parents made sure you had change for phone booth. And you either road your bike or walked to see friends.

Toothpaste tubes are recyclable plastic. Cut a “finished” one open and clean out and save the remaining toothpaste. Wash and recycle the tube and put the toothpaste in a small covered jar. I get a week’s more toothpaste to use that way.

You are too young to be reminiscing. I grew up in the 60's & 70's. We had to remember our friends phone number. We sat by the radio waiting for a song to come on so we could record it on the newest technology, cassettes. We purchased vinyl records and had to get up to put a new record on. There were no remotes, we had to change the station on the TV by hand. There were only 3 stations and they all went off the air at midnight.
