Amazed to find out frybread was a trending recipe on tik tok, it's a traditional native american bread that's easy to make and uses few ingredients. It's due to natives just needing a cheap bread to eat with soups, or to use to make a Navajo taco. Roughly this is my explanation of what my grandma told me as a little girl, I'm a full blooded native, Paiute and Sioux. This was nice to see :)
It's the only thing we had from our rations, just like the commodes that we are given.
Yep, like Lee Roy said it was born out of what Native people were given as rations when they were put in to reservations. Delicious but sadly not the food our ancestors actually ate 😕
I made griddle flatbread... I have a couple of native friends added on Facebook and she shared the recipe right at the start of a bread shortage in my area. It was yummy

Oreo came out with a moon landing anniversary edition cookie it tasted like marshmallow cream it was so good i bought a bunch and was super sad to see them go but my waist was not.

My aunt is full-blood native American and when I was younger she actually took me to one of the festivals. It was fun and I really enjoyed it. My aunt also makes really good frybread :)

The popcorn one was supposed to be popcorn oil and separate popcorn kernels not just scooped out of a microwave bag 😂 love you guys
It still wouldn't have worked. Melting anything with candy sugar or chocolate, it will be temperamental. It burns easy. you're supposed to drizzle and/or mix it in afterward because otherwise, you're going to burn it.
If you want to do caramel corn that's different because you melt the sugar and you're popping the popcorn at the same time.
The sugar that's in most American made candy such as skittles uses high fructose corn syrup. You can see that if you watch Claire on Bon Appetite. She actually made skittles. You can't just cook sugar like that twice anyways.

Even with out directions you think they would know just plain popcorn kernels. As bad as it was going to be regarldess mmm that microwave pop corn butter would just add to the horrid flavour lol

Can confirm the cinnamon roll pancakes are delicious! Few hints to make these:
1. Make sure the pancake is almost completely cooked before you flip it over. You don’t want the sugar to be touching the pan long.
2. If you plan to make more than one pancake, clean the pan between each pancake to prevent burned sugar.
3. Use your best non stick pan. The one that nothing sticks to.
4. Soak in warm water to get caramelized sugar off.
5. Enjoy! They are sooo yummy. Messy but yummy. 😋

I’m not allergic or if I am it’s only mildly...but over a certain amount of cinnamon will make me nauseous or even vomit. And the pain it can cause to my stomach when it’s too much is severe. 😕 Also depends on the type of cinnamon. The cheaper the type the less I can handle. So we buy the more expensive kind so I can eat things it’s used it/on. And whatever Cinnabon uses makes me extremely sick so quickly I don’t even finish the cinnamon roll!😣🤢
I need to have a new food allergy test done as I’ve had severe allergic reactions to okra since I was last tested. To the point I had to be rushed to the ER.😕 And several other foods have shown signs of me going beyond just being “sensitive” to. Which is scary.

I make those pancakes all the time! They are so good my boyfriend never wants regular pancakes anymore lol. Sometimes I make like an icing glaze to serve on top of them instead of syrup so they’re just like iced cinnamon rolls 🤤 but in pancake form lol

The person used Skittles not M&Ms I'm pretty sure. Also, we did a lab on double stuff Oreos and they are around 150% the original oreos.

I have ehlers-danlos syndrome which is a one in 20,000 connective tissue disorder that among MANY other symptoms causes all of your joints to partially dislocate or fully dislocate and a daily basis causing widespread pain. I've always felt a little bit broken even though people told me I wasn't, when I read that quote it really shocked me how much I related to it.
Ehlers-danlos syndrome in the family of lupus and Marfan. Sia has it.... and every one that has EDS suspects highly that Billie eilish, Taylor swift and Lady Gaga all have some type of connective tissue disorder as well. Connective tissue disorders are only just now being discovered I believe the number to be much lower than one in 20,000.

If you want chocolate on popcorn, just make popcorn, melt regular and white chocolate then drizzle them to make zebra popcorn.

Double stuffed is actually how thick Oreos were when I was a kid. In the 90s they got thinner and thinner, and then suddenly Double stuffed came out, twice the price and same thickness as they used to be.

The "fried dough" (usually called frybread) reminded me of when I was younger and when my mom made it (I used to dip it in maple syrup or put peanut butter on it). It has a few more ingredients normally but it didn't look too bad. I'm actually Seneca-Mohawk so my parents made frybread pretty often. I'm still learning though lol.

Ummmm... the popcorn 'hack' is used skittles and loose popping corn kernels, not the ones from the microwave popcorn bags. That's why it looked, as Sika said, like poop.
I doubt it would've worked anyway. Most types of sugar melt and burn if you're not carefulpossibly. Possibly ruining your pan. Chocolate melts and it's very temperamental.

I love these videos! Well, I love all of your videos but that’s not the point. You and Sika are making my quarantine a much happier time. My daughter lives with her boyfriend so I haven’t seen her since Feb. this is the longest I have ever been without my kiddo snuggles in her entire life. 19 years! I am in snuggle withdrawal. But watching the hilarity helps so much.

For the fry bread my family puts beans and cheese on it you can do meat top ground beef works great. Honey makes a great desert version.

I make the cinnamon roll pancakes for family members on their birthday. It's SO FREAKING WONDERFUL!!! You can over do the cinnamon swirl. When I make them I add a little bit of vanilla to the batter. Also, I don't think they need the icing. They're really sweet. But when making a batch, you have to wipe down the pan between each batch of them. So they work... they worth it, but they lotta work.
