Homelander's power level in the Amazon Prime series The Boys is quite impressive. Here's a breakdown of his abilities: 1. Strength: He can easily lift and move up to 552 tons and his striking power can reach up to 1,104 tons of force. 2. Speed: He can travel at approximately 18,000 miles per hour, has nanosecond reaction time/reflexes, and his combat speed is similar. In short, he's incredibly fast. 3. Durability: He can survive a nuclear explosion, which means he has city-level durability. 4. Enhanced senses/visions: Homelander has superhuman hearing, smell, and voice (Supersonic scream). He also has X-ray vision and Heat vision, which can shoot laser-like beams from his eyes that are as hot as the sun's surface. 5. Other enhanced physical attributes: Homelander has superhuman stamina (can go for weeks without tiring), moderate healing factor (can heal any scar, wound, or serious injuries in less than a couple of seconds or a few days, depending on the wound/injury), and enhanced longevity (he ages very slowly and can live for hundreds, if not thousands, of years). 6. Other powers/abilities: Homelander can be brought back from the dead (as long as his brain isn't destroyed) and can fly. That's all for his powers.

I will say, for the baseball throw, that math was completely pulled out of no where, and otherwise, would be incorrect. The speed is pulled out of thin air, and we definetly have to account for the loss of speed/air drag, arc, and terminal velocity. He threw the baseball at around a 55° angle or so, and it looked like it curved upwards, which would involve a lot of backspin, so it definetly would not be in a straight line. Also, i think Stilwell was just naming Boston as a random place in that direction, and wasnt pinpointing where it would land. With the back spin, it probably landed a lot closer, or maybe even behind the initial throwpoint. With the throw already being at about a 55° angle roughly, plus the back spin, it is likely the ball started to travel more vertically than horizontally. This would likely cause the ball to slowdown a lot faster, and if it didnt break out of the gravitaional pull of the earth, it would have peaked in height, and would fall back down to earth at the baseballs terminal velocity. Unfortunately, i do not know an official regulation baseball's terminal velocity, and im not smart enough to do the actual math to figure out the acceleration and deceleration rates.

@@Nicolos117 Doesn't matter, Superman's heat vision defies all kinds of physics on an astronomical scale. It's capable of sealing tears in the fabric of reality, homelander's heat vision is nothing in comparison.
@@shaggyrogers7039that not compound v that a different type of compound v that only give you powers for 24 hours and has a side effect of melting your brain
0:31 This is the worst video about "How strong is the character"!! You're treating comics' Homelander backstory the same as TV's Homelander, but they're different, comics Homelander started "taking" compound V in the womb (like many supes) and his father is Stormfront (who is a male in the comics)....
Great video, but I think you forgot about Homelander's super scream. In the comics, he can scream to such a degree that it can deafen those around him.
I’m not entirely sure Homelander has the kind of longevity you suggest. He has aged completely normally since birth, he absolutely looks like a 40 year old man, and recently he’s been having an existential crisis due to his signs of aging becoming more noticeable. Such as his face/skin when he looks in the mirror and that fact that his hair is graying all over. Now when you consider other Supes with proven longevity like Soldier Boy and Stormfront, they’re both over a century old and look younger than Homelander. Going even further, take other quasi-immortals like Wolverine for example. Once his mutation manifested around 12/13 it took Logan nearly 30 years to grow and age to the appearance of a mid 20’s male. Honestly, this is just speculation, but after the original trial and error and the lessons learned from Supes like Stormfront, Soldier Boy and other early examples a company like Vought would have built in planned obsolescence to modern V to maintain their control.
Honestly... he's not all that impossible to take out. Homelander on the cellular and organic tissue level is practically indestructible in his universe but on the molecular level...not so much. No matter how strong he is, how many hits he can take he's still vulnerable to radiation. Something like the Demon Core incident or dusting him with cobalt-60 would kill him, not instantly but no matter how durable he is he still gas DNA that can't have parts of its code ripped apart my high engery particles. If his genetic code is damaged enough, cell replication becomes impossible, and he's basically a walking (or, in this case, flying) corps. The only issue is it would take days or even weeks for him to die, and at least part of that, he would likeky still have most of his powers. I shudder to think what he would do if he knew he was going to die in total agony no matter what he did... Because of this, I think a much higher dose of radiation is required to be sure. If possible, I think tricking him into a particle accelerator would be the best bet, BUT there's a chance of blowing it if he catches on. So, to be 100% sure, here's my plan. Assuming we gave the resources and access, one could convince him to come to the facility under some pretense. The story could be we are offering him a way to gain imunity from his father's debuff powers or whatever. They get him into a modified decontamination chamber and pump in a lot of cobalt-60. Now he's likely dead in a month from this already, but this is just an insurance policy if the primary attack fails. After that, we get him into an accelerator and blast him with everything it's got. One particle collision from the LHC produces about 1 billion Gy (about 10 gy is lethal to humans compound V or no compound v) the lhc could possibly (according to my sources) hit him with 10 billion particles giving him a does of 10^16 gy over about 10 seconds. This is an incredible amount of energy amd would cause flash boiling of fluids in his tissues regardless of Combount V. It would be roughly like sticking a grape in an industrial magnetron. He would likely lose consciousness in the first second or two, then basically go from a biological being to a smoldering chemical mass in rabid order after that. Should he catch wise before it fires up, he's already been hit with enough radiation by the cobalt-60 to kill him over a few days to weeks.
And where are you getting the evidence that radiation harms him? We literally see a reactor plant blow up on him and he's unphased supes (not just homelander) in the comics have been stated to be able to swim across the sun (literally) where are you getting the notion that radiation harms him? If that was the case he would already be dead
What?.... Cap beat Spidey lol. Homelander is a superman clone who can lift 12 mack trucks. That's 48,000lb each. That puts homelander stronger than what we have even seen thanos do. @@bencherbryant-48

At about 4 minutes in you say "downing" and the editing corrects it to "dawning", but both are incorrect. It is "donning," as one "dons" an article of clothing.
well maybe a strech but Homelander can have a speed at least 40.320Km/h (25.200miles/h), cus he said he was in space in S3/ep4 when he was talking to Edgar, he said "you should see it from space", and 40.000Km/h is the minimum speed to escape Earth's gravitational field, its called Second cosmic velocity.
So wait, if he can't see through zinc, how can he see through a lot of items? Zinc is very common, so does it have to be pure zinc or something? (Genuinely asking, i am very curious)
@@Nicolos117I think its more or less a decision for him to see that way, and its intuitive when he would use it. So for example different situations automatically prompts him to see that way, like trained people that are on edge counting exits in buildings, which is also kinda...... Intuitive to them.
I wanna know how powerful is compared to other beings in his universe, not outside of it. To me what makes Homelander so terrifying in the show is that if he really wanted to, he could destroy every power and government in the world and no one could stop him
that's 90% comics in the show he can essentially Ragdoll every Supe Barring Mave, Stormfront, Soldier Boy and Temp V Butcher so put every Super Feat strength, endurance and speed wise of every Supe minus those 4 under Homelander's belt as done with ease then while it takes a minute he can over power those 4 in a couple minutes so then throw in all their feats as average effort post that use what we're shown but he's definitely weaker than his comics self
The torturing when he was a kid with the furnace and stuff, he’s invincible so he didn’t really go through any pain or am I confused. Been known to happen before
The heat in the furnace couldnt harm him however homelander still felt pain from the heat, he told frank Himself "It hurt, I was in there and my tears just sizzled away"
Anyone who believes he can survive a nuke is high. Madelyn was just hyping Homelander considering there’s no feasible way Vought could test one on him and cover it up. As for his Heat vision there’s no way it’s as hot as the sun’s surface since Soldier Boy’s tungsten shield blocked his high beams.

Alright, so here is home Landers powers, breakdown first will start off with the strength, I just want to start off that he can easily crush and decimate phones, concrete band and rip apart metal, steel doors and even very durable wood, he can easily lift cars and the heaviest planes which can get up to 503000 pounds. I've spent days of research working on this and When mothers milk states that he can lift Up to over a dozen mack trucks now if we are going to the heaviest Mack trucks possible we'll start off with the Mack titen now what Mr trick Theory got wrong is that he just counted the average weight of a Mac Titan if we really want to give homelander the advantage let's just say it's completely full at its Max weight of 103 000 pounds Now time's that up by 12 that's over 1.3 million pounds and over 620 tons Speed wise even as a kid he broke the sound barrier so we know even as a kid he could easily move 767 miles per hour now He's also been seen to move at speeds of up to 12 000 miles per hour And easily break this sound barrier and Dodge bullets now his greatest speed Feat is when he Dodged a C4 explosion while saving Billy butcher's life now what people forget to calculate is that he went back in the house and out three times so he'd have to be moving three times faster than a C4 explosion the fastest C4 explosions can move at 18 000 miles per hour So if we times that by three which is 54 000 miles per hour and also not that he took butcher several miles away we don't even know how far but several multiple miles away And then came back and then grabbed the baby and brought him multiple miles away from Madeleine Stillwell's house so he could be moving even faster than the 54 000 miles per hour His feet of heat vision is very possibly his most powerful ability he can easily slice through pretty much from concrete Stone steel tungsten easily melt and Decimate armor Turn people spread and rip apart people like their butter Decimate planes And just melt and warm up bottles Uh his greatest feat of lasers Vision strength is when He Within one point sorry 0.96 seconds He destroyed a private jet Which if we're lowballing it And saying it's made out of aluminum He would have to be admitting over 73 million joules of energy to destroy the jet If we highball it and go with the strongest material steel he could be going over 700 million joules of energy And that is nothing to him He also has an enhanced healing factor to heal from small injuries within a couple a few seconds and Sears injuries within a few days He has an extreme resistance of pain and a hypersonic screen we see in the comics that he accidentally was made his voice so loud that he British the eardrums of every person on the plane they were in He was so powerful that it stated by Mr Stilwell in the comments that he kicked a football with enough force to destroy a plane He's also thrown a a baseball over 200 miles over to Boston which I've estimated which move about 50 000 miles per hour and would basically be a mini asteroid His body stated by Miss Stilwell at the very finale of season one Is When he was in the lab they tried every conventional weapon known to man bombs guns knives lasers Tasers are electricity fire heat drowning Waterboarding and all forms of torture even the most powerful of bombs Even as a little kid that had to strap they're a bit most powerful nukes and hydrogen bombs to make sure he didn't escape And now that doesn't even work because they didn't even know if that would kill him as a kid but they know it wouldn't work even Now As an adult Um he has hypersensus being able to smell people the scent of other people even 24 hours later He can he can smell a person's blood pressure from all the way across a building you can hear the fingers tapping on keyboards or phones from hundreds of feet away and has X-ray vision

Pisses me off when videos like this start out telling us who he is. The reason why we're watching the video in the first place is because we know who he is
Downplayers they'll bring up homelanders anti feats and never properly give the character his due most likely they'll bring up "he got hurt by a straw" ignoring that the straw he got hurt by was used by the second strongest supe on his team whom can tank city block level attacks (soldier boy and black noir scaling) or they'll say "homelanders punches can't break through a wall" -which is obviously not the case since we see him tear through supes (black noir) who tank city block level explosions completely unphased
The video must be about how powerfu Homelander is. Why do you go on explaining Homelander's bacstory for 1/4th of the video? Its kinda not relevant and not what people would expect when clicking the video...
Thing that's always bothered me is when Queen Mave stuck that object into Homerlanders ear and made him bleed. Does this mean that openings in his body are weak? If so, how did he survive being boiled alive when he was a kid? If the openings in his body aren't weak, then what was the object that made him bleed, made from? Because he's meant to bullet proof. To kill Homelander, you could fire hundreds of these objects with the same force that Queen Mave has in her hands.
I don't think The Boys worries too much about consistancy of powers as it does about the story, which is usually a good thing because being bogged down in fictional dogma is a bit silly

0:31 This is the worst video about "How strong is the character"!! You're treating comics' Homelander backstory the same as TV's Homelander, but they're different, comics Homelander started "taking" compound V in the womb (like many supes) and his father is Stormfront (who is a male in the comics)....
Im not sure about the aging thing, at least in the show we have seen signs of him starting to age in season 4
Great video, but I think you forgot about Homelander's super scream. In the comics, he can scream to such a degree that it can deafen those around him.
Oh cool! I'll hit upon comic Homelander specifically and will make sure to mention it more. Thanks!

May want to edit that.
Superman + Captain America = Homelander
With also none of their trait that made them good
@@joeda900 Facts
I love that. You really might be right based on the evidence. Awesome comment!
It’s the temp v that makes you sick
Thank you!
Honestly... he's not all that impossible to take out.
One thing I would add, that was more emphasized in season 3, is he also has super hearing.

So wait, if he can't see through zinc, how can he see through a lot of items? Zinc is very common, so does it have to be pure zinc or something? (Genuinely asking, i am very curious)
Yeah probably since there are degrees to everything. If he could truly see through everything then he would be seeing nothing at all
@@Nicolos117I think its more or less a decision for him to see that way, and its intuitive when he would use it.
