- Hi guys!
Here's a tutorial on how I make my bails for earrings & pendants. I am a professional jewellery artist but no professional in doing videos or tutorials - I'm learning. Please be kind in the comments.
I used:
- 0.5 / 24 gauge wire
- Wire cutters & pliers
- Mandrils (or something to wrap wire around)
- Beads with 1mm hole
- UV resin & lamp
My channel is too small to have a ‘thanks’ button, but if you like my tutorials and find them helpful, you can buy me a coffee on my PayPal.me link. It would be greatly appreciated so I can buy more clay. 😃 Happy Days - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
This wire bail is so simple and it would work with so many different styles, I love it!!!! Thank you so much for showing us this technique ❤❤❤
Thank you 🥰 And not only with polymer clay
That’s gorgeous
Thank you 🥰 I recently uploaded a 4 part tutorial on a bracelet cuff in the same style. Here's a link to part 2. th-cam.com/video/lsvtESeVZ4Y/w-d-xo.html
Like the idea of using the resin, thank you 😊. But really couldn't see most of what you were doing because your hands were out of sight for most of the tutorial. But got what you were trying to show us😊
Thanks Mary! Ya, I know. I didn't have a good set up for this one. I will do another if/when I do a clay tutorial 🥰
Thanks so much for this tutorial. I love it, and the results are awesome! I love the attention you give to each detail, but I wish I could watch your process more easily. I love the idea of securing each step with resin.... I never would have thought of that!
Thanks Roxanne! Sorry the video quality is crap and my set up left me going out of frame 🥰
These are so pretty! I love the combo of the colours for the mica shift. Thanks for sharing your technique.
Thank you so much Sheryl 🥰
It's so nice to listen to your voice! Thank you so much for sharing this technique and your secrets. ❤
Thank you so much Bella 🥰
I agree. Love your videos. You are a great teacher.
Thank you 🥰
Looking forward to a new tutorial,😉
Not for a while lol! I don't have a proper set up 😅
Great technique! Did you also have a tutorial for your beautiful mica shift pendant and earrings? 😊
Thank you Melanie 🥰 Yes! This pendant and earring set is from the 'Aquatic Bloom' collection. You can view all the collection on my website www.keipfr.com/aquatic-bloom . I do in fact have a tutorial. It was my first polymer clay tutorial and please forgive the quality. Here's the link th-cam.com/video/m8_0aH0eYzA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dnV9jC2FaQ92rxj8
Thank you so much for sharing how you make your bails. They are beautiful. Would love to see one for the ‘heart’ necklace where you don’t appear to have a hole
Thank you! There’s a video on that one too 🥰 Simple screw bail tutorial for your polymer clay creations

@@keipfr awesome. Thank you!!
Could you please do it again so we can see it? Looks interesting but cannot see it.
I did. Here's the link 🥰 th-cam.com/video/dglMlt-LT4U/w-d-xo.html
Are you on instagram?
I certainly am on IG but tend to use Facebook more. I'm @KeiPfr on both 🥰
I believe you have a good technique but you were out of frame for most of the tutorial so I could not see what you were doing
Thanks! Ya, I know. I didn't have a good set up for this one. I will do another when I do a clay tutorial. This was my second tutorial and I’m still learning 🥰
Not a problem my dear, I would like to use a technique like this so will look forward to seeing it again. I would not know how to do tutorials either and would probably never be in camera view, but I really learn from them and this one is beneficial according to the great comments. Welcome aboard the tutorial train. Can't wait to see more.
