This is an older review, but I can't help but comment how much I like the concept of this figure. A special forces recon trooper who clear cuts paths and I'm sure FOB areas with a bladed weed whacker! Also armed with some serious machine guns too! His backpack resembles a blower pack we use in the landscaping business I work for. That would have been a nice touch too! Almost a safety orange vest with safety glasses as well. Where is his heating protection though?!?lol

Freaking weed wacker, the 90's figures have so many accessories. Good figure mold though, looks like an Australian solider in my opinion. Great video!

Hi HCC788,
In some occasions you mentioned that G.I.Joe should have had already a refresh with new characters and also new plots for the new generations, to let them develop as the vintage characters and plots did. (hope I somehow and very quickly summarized your idea).
Because of that, maybe in a next 1990's review you could analyze how was the 1990's G.I.Joe new line related with this. 1990's series had almost completely new characters with no links to the past ones. They were even very well back-uped by the DIC animation cartoons.
When I saw them in the stores and on TV I really felt like a great new opportunity to create and collect a new G.I.Joe universe from zero, based on the good and bad experiences of the classic toys I had.
Somehow, unfortunately, in the next years Hasbro started to release again new versions of the classic characters, which was also nice, but I wish the others would have remained maybe in a parallel reality, or with an alternative line.
It was quite hopeful to see a new line that had solid leaders in both sides (Cpt. Grid Iron and Overlord) with strong characters, and specialists in every army facets.
Was it maybe to early for that change? Such a new like, or a similar one, would it be suitable for these times?

This guy have Thialand pants camo so they good for jungle Well they are awensome as pants but not good as paintball camoflage in woods like in Poland ...
