Starcraft: Mass Recall is a project that recreates the classic Starcraft and Brood War gameplay as well as the entire single-player campaigns within the Starcraft 2 engine. Mass Recall contains 68 maps, 59 from the original Brood War game, 3 that were hidden or deleted on various Starcraft supports, and 6 from the 1998 demo campaign.
This mod can be used with any Starcraft 2 version, including the free Starter edition. - เกม

It's harder than original because the sight and range of units in SC2 engine.

Well it being nighttime plus the snowfall really helps this missions atmosphere. Not to mention all this stuff from sc2's engine really helps to add more ominousness to Duran's speech.
Also what do you think they do with all the people the Dark Archons mind control after the mission is over, like in general? Do they imprison them, shanghai them into more service, let them go, or what?
Also it has Protoss briefing room like it supposed to be.
They're probably Moebius Crops Security Forces, so it's pointless to reason with them. If not, it's a FanFiction worth writing.
And the happy protoss music ruins all this ominousness. Though I agree with the rest, this mod is damn impressive.
It's very likely that the lower and mid tier units are worthless beyond their immediate utility to the Protoss. Their general lack of psionic capabilities, hilariously short lifespans and crude hardware places them way below even the Protoss's own cybernetic auxiliaries such as Reavers and Observers. Also, these particular Terrans must've seriously pissed them off by imprissoning and experimenting on kindnapped Protoss, so it's likely that they faced righteous retribution after serving their immediate purpose to the Dark Archons.

Yep, it is fan made but I wish blizzard take notice of the mod developers and make this an official campaign pack in SC2, with official polishing up, and achievements. One can only dream
@@joshuazhao That would be awesome. The difficulty definitely need some more polish. Some missions even on hard required you to know the map terrains, attack waves pattern, etc... to beat, and some of them took me a good number of tries.
you missed a drop ship and medics on the right side of the map that would have made your life a bit easier, especially when they lock you down, but you beat it regardless :)

a lot of people who complain about the Amon thing and SC2 plot in general forget that it was this mission that set all that up for SC2, though i did wish they went less cartoony and stuck with there SC1 roots of grittiness just like Diablo 1
@@dingodyno9016 the quirks and 'bugs' of sc1 really made the game better. Although I like automining workers and larger control groups... sometimes
Last time I've seen it dragoons were looking thinner. Now they added LotV model don't remember about dark archons tho.
And why they use skins? Not sure it is better than standard in this case imho
