My favorite song by Giovanni Mirabassi. Marvellous ! The most beautifull I ever heard. You will be able to replace him during his hollidays ;-) I would sell my soul to the devil to have your talent ! Congratulations and thank you very much.
Holy eggs... I so much time listened to this song.... But could not present to itself as it is played. At last having seen it in your execution... I was in a shock. It is amazing. Gallant...
Ouais, je ne parler pas francais bein, mais oui, j'adore le langue, allors je parle le francais souvent. Je etudie le francais dans l'ecole, mais dans l'ete aussi. (sorry, I don't know how to put accents over my words in typing.) By they way, excellent performance. I listen to it quite often and never really had the chance to post a comment. Keep up the beautiful work!
When I am grown-up i want to play as well as you. At the moment i am learning how to play "je chante pour passer le temps". The first, slow part isn't that hard, but the part that starts at 3:56 is almost impossible to play. You are soo good at this! :)
I like the way you flow in this one piece. From the peacefull to the hot waters. Intimacy... I wrote a verse in a poem that could be well described your playing. Este lento sicsageo por las aguas aveces calientes, tal vez ardientes entre los dientes suaves y tan delincuentes.
Lovely. The 'original' 'new composition' debate is interesting. The original is Ferre and he is the composer. Mirabassi is a jazz pianist and his is an improvisation on the theme. He hasn't 'composed' anything except in the sense of improvisation. Lester Young played inspired stuff on Billie Holiday's 'The Man I Love' but the tune was composed by George Gershwin. Young's genius was to improvise beautifully around the melody. Here Miss M plays well and with the swelling passion the piece requires, although it gets a little hairy after 3.56 where the left hand is underplayed - it should be anchoring the sudden explosion of the right hand at that point. But it is brought to a delightful close....yes, altogether lovely.
AWESOME PLAYING!!! Haha but maybe you can try phrasing your left hand part a bit more, so that that it won't sound so 'busy' :) but you're awesome :DDD
Mmh. A lot of french ppl know what @ means! I'd say half or more! Well, talking about french canadians :P French from france have a pretty weird english.. :o
Most frenches don't know @ means at so it's pointless typing it. "au" would be the correct replacement. Also don't forget in french people almost never put two vowels in a row : "J'étudie le français à l'école" ^^
Tant de talent 'niché' dans les fins fonds des trésors de TH-cam, c'est impressionnant ! Bravo et merci
Have no words to describe how beautiful is.
ive looked all over tube after this one for nearly a year and tried to play it as well but hell of a difficult piece of music

Leo Ferres original is very primitive comparing to this. Giovanni enhanced it drastically
