I never thought it'd be this easy. But I just asked my papa that can I audition. He said yes you can. And asked what audition. I said that it's an kpop audition and explained everything. Honestly I’m going to audition first, see if the company will actually want me and then ask. I’ve been dancing for almost two years of kpop dances and singing when I’m washing dishes, or cleaning in general, I even told my mom I wanted to lose weight a couple times and have gone on diets (not extreme ones just like I don’t eat snacks anymore) I hope be lift will accept me to the at least second round since this will be my first audition and show to my mom that hey I can do this plz let me do this~

i was actually rlly scared but I managed to gain some courage and I asked my mom. To my surprise, my mother was rlly chill and she said ok if that's what you want. Yesterday, I told my mom abt the YG audition that's gonna happen in my country, and she said that I can go and audition! I'm so happy! Omg this helped so much! thank you. I started getting interested in kpop about a few months ago, and i just love the style, the music, the colors and tones, just everything about it. I have always had an interest in the entertainment industry since a young age like 6. I am currently acting on stage and singing. I find that I have always been a dancer, so thats another plus. And even if I drop out of training or something happens, I would aspire to become an actor. I'm very motivated in things that I enjoy, no matter how harsh. And I dream of becoming a K-pop singer/idol/you know what i mean. In my opinion people need to understand that this is very important and serious topic. It's about your future career and life . I will continue to sing and dance in high school as I did it when I was a main vocalist in a dancer group, being the "first pair" I will wait, when I will be 18/19 make myself at least financially stable, have more knowledge about life. It is my ult goal and my mom knows this... All my dance teachers always tell my mom that I have serious potential and talent and that I should do something with it. Thus I told my teacher ab auditioning and she was so excited so we told my mom and she was 100% positive🤗 I really want to become and idol it's been my dream to be a dancer and a singer since I was 3-4. My dad doesn't know this bc he never supported this career no matter what kind of awards and shows I won... Idk how my mom and I will tell him but I've already auditioned twice for 5 companies 😊
When I was like 11 I thought really something like "OH MAAAN I WANT TO MEET BTS!1!1!!1!", but then I grew up a little, I understood that they aren't like aliens, but just people who made it, and that obviously everyone admires them for that. They are called "idols" for a reason, because they got through a lot, the early audition, the trainee years, the stress and the bad things. I realized that just looking at that part of kpop and say "yeah, I know that it will be difficult", is like saying you can play basketball because you've seen it in TV, it's not how it works, when you audition you're really stepping into a dark place without a little light source. I still want to audition, but the "Oh man I wanna meet bts" part has become just a consequence, because first of all I like singing and I liked it for all my life, my brother sometimes shouts at me making me laugh because "YOU'VE SANG FOR THE PAST FOUR HOURS CAN YOU PLEASE SHUT THE F*CK UP?!!"🌚🌚 I started with classical dance when I was 5 y.o. So I learned so much, and I'm thinking about asking to my mother if I can get hip hop private lessons, and next year I will start taking serious singing ones. I always thought my voice was ugly and a curse because I always looked up at sopranos (I don't know if they are called like that even abroad sorry I'm Italian😂) and thought "whooah they can reach those high notes and make people getting goosebumps", because I am a contralto, so my voice is actually really blues and deeeeep😩. But then I practiced a lot until I could reach powerful high notes too. I think that having this voice extention is really a bless, and I don't hate anymore my voice. But on the dance part...I sent to my father the first piece of the choreography of "boy meets evil", and I started learning like 2h before I sent it, but it wasn't so bad at all, and he asked me first, so i sent it to him because of that. Then he replied that I have to focus on things more seriously, that I'm not good at dancing, that I'm practically wasting my time- DAD I JUST PRACTICED IT FOR TWO HOURS, LET ME BREATHE!! The funny thing is that I've sent it to my dance teacher and she said it was actually good🙃😅. Anywaaaays I still want to audition and this time because I want to become an idol, not to meet some people 💪💪💪💪
My parents also told me when you finished your studies then you give audition now you have to study I am thinking when i complete my studies i become old my age maybe 23,25 sooooo In this age can we give audition Oo i am so unlucky

As a girl who was apart of friendgroups and such I always felt alone, and those “friends” backstabbed me and always made me feel alone. I even tried sports to see if I would ever make friends, but the same things always happened to me. So for my whole life I didn’t have anyone beside me and music. Music was always there for me when I needed it. I want to become an idol because I want to change how people see the world through music, I want them to feel that there not the only one that feels alone, and that I’m right there beside them holding there hand. I want them to see that there is a bright side even with the never ending darkness. And most importantly I’ve always been passionate about it. I’m currently 14 and turning 15 in 3 months.. I will be auditioning this June, I’m willing to climb the mountains that come my way, I really hope I make it in honestly, I know I’ll fail a couple of times but I’ll do my best!
back in 2020, i asked my parents if i could audition for a company, and my mom said yes, bc i told her how much i love performing and how serious i am about this, how "it was my dream". but my dad said no, js saying "its a stupid dream". lowk that crushed me, so i didnt end up auditioning. it's been three years since then and recently i've been so dead set on at least trying once in my life, just to see. i've been dancing for 9 years and 3 months, would have been going onto 10 if my dad didnt pull me out of dance to study. the past school year has been absolutely ass for me. i was so depressed, my dad was constantly in my ear about studying, etc. all i could think about was dance. so cliche but i rlly did miss dance. ontop of that, i js missed performing with a team. i recently became more active in this kpop dance club, and although it gave me some form of dance, none of the girls were professionally trained, which didnt feel the same as the the company dance ive been used to. practices wouldnt be taken seriously, but performances was euphoric to me. i cant explain to anyone how much i love performing. i would do it everyday if i could. but i just miss being professionally trained. and it genuinely makes me cry knowing that my dad will never change his mind about what he said three years ago. if i cant get him to change his mind about letting me wear shorts to school, how am i supposed to convince him to let me travel across the world and stay there for 3-5 years. i cry about this so often. everytime i see an audition poster/video, my heart aches knowing that i wont be able to participate. this is so toxic of me, but seeing the girls on survival shows makes me a little bit jealous and regretful for not auditioning. like would that have been me if i js submitted a video? i just want to perform bro.
i’m genuinely considering auditioning for ador, i think i have potential - i’ve been a self-taught dancer for 4 years, i have a fairly nice voice that kinda fits the kpop vibe & i’m korean and (in a way?) suit the korean beauty standards, but i live in australia and my parents are heavily against me auditioning. they always say, ‘you’re not even pretty enough’, ‘you would never be able to do that’ and i just don’t know what to do :’)

Becoming a K-pop Idol to see my favs never crossed my mind, I really am passionate about it, I love singing and dancing b4 getting into K-pop, my Mom has seen me taking vocal lessons and learning choreos, she herself wants me to take dance lessons and motivated me to cover a choreo while she records me, she also knows I'm learning the Korean language, but she doesn't know it's all just a step to audition she doesn't know anything about K-pop actually 😁 but I think she's going to agree with me, I mean I hope, 'cause if I don't get accepted I have 12 more self picked careers to rely on. LMAO I didn't ask my mom for the first time I just straight up said 'Mom I'm going to be an Idol' and she was like ok sure... Then the Seungri thing happened and then she found out about the Shinee member who committed suicide and then she was like 'you ain't going to be an idol'....She said I was obsessed just because I was watching a bunch of K-Dramas and downloaded many lean Korean apps just to learn Korean and then I kept asking her and she just kept saying no...so that's how I ended up here

The bighit-Bts one is soo true. Even there are people who write Big paragraphs to show they are really passionate but in reality they only want to become a K-pop idol or meet BTS. They don't want to become an artist or performer but a kpop idol just because of BTS. That's so annoying.
I've been singing since I was little. I'm currently 16, and I love to sing and listen to kpop. Singing helps me express my feelings and when I listen to kpop I feel much better about myself than I do with any other genre I sing or listen to. A goal of mine is to try and train myself in learning how to dance, learn Korean, and to improve my singing skills. When I'm out of high school, I'm planning on taking a break of school and audition for a kpop company. I know when I go and audition I would be 19, and I'm also non Korean, so I probably won't be accepted. But I love to sing and it won't stop me regardless. If I don't become a kpop trainee or idol, I will focus on another passion of mine that I know I could be just as successful in. Your videos help me a lot in learning more about kpop and the aspect of auditioning and becoming a trainee.

Hi Irene! Im a 13 yr old girl and i‘ve asked my mom if I could audition before and she said no because I would most likely not be supervised in the dorm besides by other trainees, specifically she said „Im not sending you to another country in which Ive never been to and in which you will not be properly supervised“. Any tips to help her say yes? (edit: some info i forgot to add is that i live in germany but speak fluentish English german and korean)
Tell her how you wake up early and go to school after that you practice the whole days also tell her that in dorms there are 10 trainees in one dorm and they all care abt eachother (might not work but just a tip)

Honestly I’m going to audition first, see if the company will actually want me and then ask. I’ve been dancing for almost two years of kpop dances and singing when I’m washing dishes, or cleaning in general, I even told my mom I wanted to lose weight a couple times and have gone on diets (not extreme ones just like I don’t eat snacks anymore) I hope be lift will accept me to the at least second round since this will be my first audition and show to my mom that hey I can do this plz let me do this~

Omg this helped so much! thank you. I started getting interested in kpop about a few months ago, and i just love the style, the music, the colors and tones, just everything about it. I have always had an interest in the entertainment industry since a young age like 6. I am currently acting on stage and singing. I find that I have always been a dancer, so thats another plus. And even if I drop out of training or something happens, I would aspire to become an actor. I'm very motivated in things that I enjoy, no matter how harsh. And I dream of becoming a K-pop singer/idol/you know what i mean. I'm currently starting to study korean, and I feel like I'm gonna train at home for maybe a year, till I'm thirteen to audition but thank you. Definitely subscribing and watching more of your videos!

It is my ult goal and my mom knows this... All my dance teachers always tell my mom that I have serious potential and talent and that I should do something with it. Thus I told my teacher ab auditioning and she was so excited so we told my mom and she was 100% positive🤗 I really want to become and idol it's been my dream to be a dancer and a singer since I was 3-4. When I was like 11 I thought really something like "OH MAAAN I WANT TO MEET BTS!1!1!!1!", but then I grew up a little, I understood that they aren't like aliens, but just people who made it, and that obviously everyone admires them for that. They are called "idols" for a reason, because they got through a lot, the early audition, the trainee years, the stress and the bad things. I realized that just looking at that part of kpop and say "yeah, I know that it will be difficult", is like saying you can play basketball because you've seen it in TV, it's not how it works, when you audition you're really stepping into a dark place without a little light source. I still want to audition, but the "Oh man I wanna meet bts" part has become just a consequence, because first of all I like singing and I liked it for all my life, my brother sometimes shouts at me making me laugh because "YOU'VE SANG FOR THE PAST FOUR HOURS CAN YOU PLEASE SHUT THE F*CK UP?!!"🌚🌚 I started with classical dance when I was 5 y.o. So I learned so much, and I'm thinking about asking to my mother if I can get hip hop private lessons, and next year I will start taking serious singing ones. I always thought my voice was ugly and a curse because I always looked up at sopranos (I don't know if they are called like that even abroad sorry I'm Italian😂) and thought "whooah they can reach those high notes and make people getting goosebumps", because I am a contralto, so my voice is actually really blues and deeeeep😩. But then I practiced a lot until I could reach powerful high notes too. I think that having this voice extention is really a bless, and I don't hate anymore my voice. But on the dance part...I sent to my father the first piece of the choreography of "boy meets evil", and I started learning like 2h before I sent it, but it wasn't so bad at all, and he asked me first, so i sent it to him because of that. Then he replied that I have to focus on things more seriously, that I'm not good at dancing, that I'm practically wasting my time- DAD I JUST PRACTICED IT FOR TWO HOURS, LET ME BREATHE!! The funny thing is that I've sent it to my dance teacher and she said it was actually good🙃😅. Anywaaaays I still want to audition and this time because I want to become an idol, not to meet some people 💪💪💪💪

As a girl who was apart of friendgroups and such I always felt alone, and those “friends” backstabbed me and always made me feel alone. I even tried sports to see if I would ever make friends, but the same things always happened to me. So for my whole life I didn’t have anyone beside me and music. Music was always there for me when I needed it. I want to become an idol because I want to change how people see the world through music, I want them to feel that there not the only one that feels alone, and that I’m right there beside them holding there hand. I want them to see that there is a bright side even with the never ending darkness. And most importantly I’ve always been passionate about it. I’m currently 14 and turning 15 in 3 months.. I will be auditioning this June, I’m willing to climb the mountains that come my way, I really hope I make it in honestly, I know I’ll fail a couple of times but I’ll do my best!

back in 2020, i asked my parents if i could audition for a company, and my mom said yes, bc i told her how much i love performing and how serious i am about this, how "it was my dream". but my dad said no, js saying "its a stupid dream". lowk that crushed me, so i didnt end up auditioning. it's been three years since then and recently i've been so dead set on at least trying once in my life, just to see. i've been dancing for 9 years and 3 months, would have been going onto 10 if my dad didnt pull me out of dance to study. the past school year has been absolutely ass for me. i was so depressed, my dad was constantly in my ear about studying, etc. all i could think about was dance. so cliche but i rlly did miss dance. ontop of that, i js missed performing with a team. i recently became more active in this kpop dance club, and although it gave me some form of dance, none of the girls were professionally trained, which didnt feel the same as the the company dance ive been used to. practices wouldnt be taken seriously, but performances was euphoric to me. i cant explain to anyone how much i love performing. i would do it everyday if i could. but i just miss being professionally trained. and it genuinely makes me cry knowing that my dad will never change his mind about what he said three years ago. if i cant get him to change his mind about letting me wear shorts to school, how am i supposed to convince him to let me travel across the world and stay there for 3-5 years. i cry about this so often. everytime i see an audition poster/video, my heart aches knowing that i wont be able to participate. this is so toxic of me, but seeing the girls on survival shows makes me a little bit jealous and regretful for not auditioning. like would that have been me if i js submitted a video? i just want to perform bro.

i’m genuinely considering auditioning for ador, i think i have potential - i’ve been a self-taught dancer for 4 years, i have a fairly nice voice that kinda fits the kpop vibe & i’m korean and (in a way?) suit the korean beauty standards, but i live in australia and my parents are heavily against me auditioning. they always say, ‘you’re not even pretty enough’, ‘you would never be able to do that’ and i just don’t know what to do :’)

Becoming a K-pop Idol to see my favs never crossed my mind, I really am passionate about it, I love singing and dancing b4 getting into K-pop, my Mom has seen me taking vocal lessons and learning choreos, she herself wants me to take dance lessons and motivated me to cover a choreo while she records me, she also knows I'm learning the Korean language, but she doesn't know it's all just a step to audition she doesn't know anything about K-pop actually 😁 but I think she's going to agree with me, I mean I hope, 'cause if I don't get accepted I have 12 more self picked careers to rely on.

Then the Seungri thing happened and then she found out about the Shinee member who committed suicide and then she was like 'you ain't going to be an idol'....She said I was obsessed just because I was watching a bunch of K-Dramas and downloaded many lean Korean apps just to learn Korean and then I kept asking her and she just kept saying no...so that's how I ended up here

I've been singing since I was little. I'm currently 16, and I love to sing and listen to kpop. Singing helps me express my feelings and when I listen to kpop I feel much better about myself than I do with any other genre I sing or listen to. A goal of mine is to try and train myself in learning how to dance, learn Korean, and to improve my singing skills. When I'm out of high school, I'm planning on taking a break of school and audition for a kpop company. I know when I go and audition I would be 19, and I'm also non Korean, so I probably won't be accepted. But I love to sing and it won't stop me regardless. If I don't become a kpop trainee or idol, I will focus on another passion of mine that I know I could be just as successful in. Your videos help me a lot in learning more about kpop and the aspect of auditioning and becoming a trainee.

Hi Irene! Im a 13 yr old girl and i‘ve asked my mom if I could audition before and she said no because I would most likely not be supervised in the dorm besides by other trainees, specifically she said „Im not sending you to another country in which Ive never been to and in which you will not be properly supervised“. Any tips to help her say yes?
(edit: some info i forgot to add is that i live in germany but speak fluentish English german and korean)
Tell her how you wake up early and go to school after that you practice the whole days also tell her that in dorms there are 10 trainees in one dorm and they all care abt eachother (might not work but just a tip)
