What I like about Zoom is they have super-unusual efx available besides just choruses, delays etc.

I don't know i have the G3X in cowork whit a line 6 amplifi 150 I've had have them for alot of Year maybe 6 or more and to hear this doesn't sound like an upgrade sound little better but not enough, still for a beginner this is a hell of a pedal

I prefer the heavier cases on the G3/G5 this seems flimsy.
I have a G3N that is the meat of my rig it’s been bullet proof.
The touchscreen is a bit gimmicky to me.
I edit on the computer if I need to deep dive anyway my back can’t deal with that 💩.
G3N is amazing i love it, but the problem is that doesnt have FX Send and return to connect correctly to the tube amp
@@vaanrodriguez the lack of send return in why I’ve been looking to upgrade.
The plastic case on the g6 and g11 are total deal killer for me.
I used one in a session. Sounded great but really flimsy.
Can you have a drums looping and then create a rhythm loop...to then practice guitar leads?

Sounds are actually great. This demo, not so much.
I'm really surprised at how terrible this sounds. It must be the way it was processed and then to TH-cam. The G5, etc sounded really good.
Overly compressed, toy sounding lil ole thing.

Sounds like the don't have the cabinets emulation engaged, Zoom is missing the boat, sounds like a toy not for real musicians
Distortion are bad, that's the problem with most of multi-effects.
I am a pro Studio musician, I use a G3N with a amp sim/ di box just about exclusively. There ain’t nothing wrong with the distortions in the zoom boxes.
Or I wouldn’t get hired back. Just saying.

@@ssslayer With an expensive multi-effects and good Ir no it's impossible to hear a difference, but i don't want pay more than an tube head to get a tube head sound.

@@thomaslthomas1506 Why do you need a DI box when that's included in the G3 with the cab modelling option? THeres an option to go direct to a mixer or PA or amp depending on the setting you choose. A DI box is not necessary at all.
@@richardpress9551 it’s not included, the G3 does not have a transformer or balanced outputs. I don’t remember the brand of mine but it wasn’t horribly expensive. It’s got ground cancel, a transformer, a splitter to go to an amp or monitor, and protection against phantom power in the circuit which can fry your box FIY.
