@@TonyCluckinDuckIdk I was fucking blown away by the leaks being true and how amazing GTA portrayed the protagonist. Hopefully I’m not alone but GTA went back to Vice City and have made the wait worth it 😄
YEAH, you'd ought to know your sister was judgmentally challenged! (I have one too, but she never tried to talk all of us into doing something so fundamentally stupid.)
Story 4. That would have been the last time me and Ashley hung out. I tell you this doesn’t feel right and you continue to be naive. Nope, don’t need that kinda person in my group.
I know drove me crazyyy listening to this story smh I felt so bad for her 😭 I’d be so livid with my sibling if one of them got us in that dangerous of a situation.
I think the last story the guy had a dangerous amount of nostalgia and homesickness. The guy must have been lonely and missed old times a bit too much. He was the one that set up the meeting after all. Then this sleepover party he had planned got "ruined" because there was someone out of the status quo. In his mind, it needed to be a perfect recreation of old times and because of his own outburst he actually ruined it. Watching the bubble he was living in fall apart and his friends looking at him in a different way, he lost it further. Don't know why he would think attacking the old friend would help. After that, once he lost contact with everyone he must have thought there was nothing left for him and deleted all social media and everything that would remind him of the past. Quite tragic but an unfair reaction. He could have still enjoyed his time at home with old friends. Just one would be busy.
People need to understand that while you can't bring back the past and relive those "old good times", you can form new memories that are just as precious. Living in the present and taking it all in day by day is just the way to vibe imo. My guess is mid life crisis too.
To be able to get his old friends together was actually very fortunate. You think maybe this person may have some narcissistic traits? I hate throwing that label around because there could be other reasons that led this person to act like that.
@@MostGratefulOwlI think we need to stop using therapy speak and trying to diagnose people based on a single story. He was most likely just lonely and unhappy. A lot of people get stuck in the past instead of trying to make new memories and focusing on the present. I've also heard of people doing wild things when they get hit with a mid life crisis as well.
@@chopsandtoots I also had some similar feelings of staying in the past and that's why that last story stuck with me. Not to the point of hurting my friends, mind you. You have a point, it's not necessarily a condition or anything of the sort. The OP of the story mentioned it wasn't like him to be that way. He must have gone through a lot and tried to reach out to old friends but turned it into an obsession. All we gotta say is the same last words OP said, hopefully he is getting the help he needs.
I'm sorry but l can't believe the family got into that van in West Palm Beach when they didn't even know that guy! And the parents listened to their daughter??? I'm glad you all are still alive and all you lost were your phones. You are so lucky!
I keep watching ur subscribers in anticipation and have mini celebrations every time u grow a little more. You seriously deserve it. Thanks for your hard work
Story 2: "The guy seemed to know what he was talking about and there weren't any obvious red flags" - immediately after going through about 17 red flags
So many bad decisions made in these stories, especially in the family on vacation story, shame on the dad for allowing his wife and daughter to talk him into going along with this ridiculous scenario, everyone in these stories are so lucky to be alive, ffs🤦♀️
Your mom and dad r supposed to be the ones to hear an idea like that and say r u out of your fucking mind there’s no way I raised u to be that stupid but instead they sound like the kinda parents that wanna be their kids friends instead of parents
The only reason I can think of that makes sense is if he knew they were going with or without him and he couldn't live with himself if they never came back. Either way he should have told them no one is going and that's final
Some young girls can be naive of the world though and sounded like story 5 girl was. Parents need to teach their daughters the reality of it and to not let movies mislead them.
Right. You’re never supposed to let dumb people choose. If OP thought the thing was sketchy, they should’ve just pulled off without waiting for her friend’s input
I appreciate the depth of the characters in this horror narrative. It adds a layer of realism that makes the scares even more impactful. Great character development!
Story 5, what the hell is wrong with the parents, especially the mother? Like how could she let her kids, I don't care if they were 18 or 19, go off with an obvious sketchy strange man? It just made no sense. And then the dad didn't stop this from happening. He's OP and her sister's father, he is supposed to protect them, instead he did what his wife and oldest daughter wanted. It's obvious that he has no spine. Hopefully he has a spine now. The 4 of them are very lucky to be alive. It almost sounded something to do with human trafficking. I wouldn't be surprised if it had been. Hopefully the sister makes better choices now. And the last story it seemed like Brian wanted the group of friends to be like it was back in high school. I mean he didn't want any spouses or partners to be in this little get together. He didn't like that OP had his wife with him. That is just what I got from this. Just sounded like he never really moved on from high school. I could be wrong but that's just what I got.
Not to victim-blame but the story with the Nate guy, seriously? I feel like if I were the parents, I'd say no to protect my kids and if I were the kid, I'd say no to protect my parents.
Naah...they are Morons; all of it. I mean fine, meeting up with some strange Guy BUT GETTING IN A F*** CAR with some creepy Baldy; they are asking for beeing robbed.
Story 5: Was this guy literally The Mountain from GoT that literally the whole family just handed him their phones? Surely you at least try resisting in those circumstances. And the criminal - such incompetence! You pick up the whole family when you just have 2 guys? With no guns? C'mon
Lesson to be learnt from story 1 : Don't trust anyone blindly to bring them home that too First meeting, Set up Traps like this will always happen. This is a new method by Fraudsters. Posing as a Potential date and extorting Money. Poor Guy in the story. Story 2: Never ever trust people like that who promise impossible things, backoff if you feel something weird. Story 4: Never ever Help a stranger in the middle of night or in unfamiliar places, that's all a trap for either robbery or Human trafficking or something much Worse.
Story 1: there was a serial killer group in nyc who would do exactly this, the girl would manage to get into the man’s house, then her friends would come in and rob the place. She would kill the victim. They were horrible people

I *will* stand up for someone who is logical, a fighter, but if you're being dumb, I will abandon you. That's where I am now, and I don't apologize for it.
To OP on the first story or anyone in a similar situation, you don't have to let criminals take your money to get a paper trail. If they try to use it, your bank can still track the attempts on a closed card. CANCEL YOUR CARDS AND KEEP YOUR MONEY

The OP too. Oh I just went. Like NO.... say NO and you're not going anywhere.
What was that about, actually? Their stupidity and nativity frustrated me af.

Right! Never! We would be 80 and I will say: "remember ur lady boner almost got us killed!" 😂😂😂
An entire family of lemmings.
Same! I would bring it up every chance I got. Some experiences are so hard to get over, even if you manage to walk away unscathed.
YEAH, you'd ought to know your sister was judgmentally challenged! (I have one too, but she never tried to talk all of us into doing something so fundamentally stupid.)
I feel like I would blame the parents more. It's a mother and fathers job to keep their kids safe!
Omg the people in these stories do not have stranger danger radars. Stressing me out!!!!
No, not at all
Right! Captain Obvious stands in front of them and they push her aside 😅
