    Interesting to hear he has k1 media in his filter, I was going to do the same but everything I researched about it says it's only good when used in a fluidised moving bed but no good for a static cannister filter 🤔

    What a monster puffer, at 23-24 inch, and still a bit to grow, it’s definitely an incredible pet fish. 👍

      Very true the eyesight is 20-20 the only problem they have at fully grown is aim loss due to depth perception..

    How to size tank?

  • @skonne7
    @skonne7 ปีที่แล้ว

    That puffer is enormous! I get the appeal but have to say they're not for me, I find their expression a little dopey. Glad there's some schoolers in the tank as well.

    I want to ask which type of mbu puffer and red line pustulatus is actually rarer and the price difference is which is more expensive, bro. and whether these two types of puffer are already cultivated or whether they still depend on catching them in their natural habitat???

    I’ve never heard anyone else refer to fish as bits. Awesome puffer ,I may get one. Talking about nitrate levels with Mick is much like talking about them with me I’ve never checked them in my life. I don’t know what you’re on about mate, ain’t that right Mick ???😂🤣😂 I would’ve kept the fish and run the extra FX6 personally, but each to their own

    You should watch ohio fish rescue on TH-cam. They have had mbu puffers over 20 years, and they tried 2 together but 1 nearly killed the other, they say the puffers are better as three or on their own. But they take fish keeping to a whole new level.

    they have great eyesight and are very intelligent. they dont see the fish as a food source. there teeth are 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom fused to look like a beak for crushing shellfish
