I actually got super pissed at a friend yesterday because they watched ep 13 of season 2 and thought, “the story was committing suicide” because of Choso’s false memory scene. Despite me repeating, “There is genuinely a reasonable explanation for what happened and it will come relatively soon.” Ugh. Love the reaction btw. My partner loves Choso almost as much as you. And they’re not a manga reader, just an anime-only lol. After this episode aired I kept getting messages like, “I love Choso” “Choso is so cool” “I keep rewatching both Choso fights” haha.
10:28 I simply LOVE how Pseudo-Geto fuels Uzumaki only with Mahito and uses it against Miwa, but for another reason She was the one who Mechamaru risked it all for, giving intel to the enemy. In classic Mahito fashion, Mahito cruelly ruined everything for both Mechamaru and Miwa by killing him which tore her apart "Geto" didn't fight, but he was present during Mechamaru and Mahito's fight As a witness to that fight, Geto indirectly avenged Mechamaru by getting rid of his killer right in front of Miwa I like to think that circle Miwa's looking at is Mahito's eye (or one of them that formed during Uzumaki) Maybe Mahito's still sentient enough to see who Geto would make him die for, even though they don't know nor care about the connection she and Mechamaru have
The Mei Mei scene was current. She and Ui Ui escaped and went to Malaysia. Shes more concerned with money and things that hold value to her. The scene is to illustrate how someone like her, a person who basically takes advantage of her little brother and only cares about money, can get away without any problems or repercussion whereas someone like Nanami, who had good values and tried to help people, died in the battlefield. And to top it off where does Mei Mei end up? Malaysia, the place Nanami wanted to go when he was dying

As a manga reader I love choso and he’s amazing one of my favorite’s but I’m still sad to this day that eso and kechizu are dead i remember shedding a tear when they died even though they did terrible things too but they was also victims too from pseudo-geto cause they was manipulated along side with choso and it sucks too because they was doing those things because they was following choso choices of siding with fake geto which unfortunately got them killed especially from their fellow younger brother (yuji) without both knowing they was brothers as they were fighting each other it would’ve been nice if they was around they would have had cute bond with yuj (as it showed in choso fake memories) but nooo that damm cat Gege wants to make yuji and us the reader’s to suffer 🙄💀 but at least yuji has choso.

Oh good I’m happy you feel that way! Choso is definitely a character that grows on you over time (for some reason I loved him from his first appearance) and they really elevated his appearance in this episode I couldn’t have asked for more! Also Yuji is one of my favourite characters but it’s totally fine you don’t like him! Maybe you will more over time but there’s so many characters to enjoy it doesn’t reaaaaally matter
Yujis still great! It just feels like he takes a bit of a backseat because everyone else has all these unique and crazy curse techniques and fighting skills…. And Yuji just punches people, albeit it very hard lol. Maybe I’ll be eating these words in the future if he gets new abilities.

What chapter do you think they’ll end this season on? First I thought it would maybe be chapter 137, but they ended last episode on 135 and I don’t think they’ll only animate two chapters for one episode. So it would either be chapter 138 or 139. Which one do u think will make most sense for this season to end on?
The most sense would be 138 for it to be a nice conclusion but if they want to annoy anime-onlys with a cliffhanger then they will end 139 by hinting at *SPOILER WARNING* yuta hunting yuji.

Honestly, I get the Choso love now. I didn’t think I’d like anyone more than Nanami and Todo, but apparently Itadori has nothing but 10/10 bro material in his orbit. Is it wrong that Itadori is my least favourite in his own show lol?
Oh good I’m happy you feel that way! Choso is definitely a character that grows on you over time (for some reason I loved him from his first appearance) and they really elevated his appearance in this episode I couldn’t have asked for more!
Also Yuji is one of my favourite characters but it’s totally fine you don’t like him! Maybe you will more over time but there’s so many characters to enjoy it doesn’t reaaaaally matter
Yujis still great! It just feels like he takes a bit of a backseat because everyone else has all these unique and crazy curse techniques and fighting skills…. And Yuji just punches people, albeit it very hard lol. Maybe I’ll be eating these words in the future if he gets new abilities.
